desire z is not ur ordinary 800 mhz it's a dual chipped 800 mhz so it's head to head with 1 ghz phones..so it deserves the update

AnonD-2631, 27 Feb 2011wait a minute, Desire is as old as Legend. no gingerbread love for Legend? come on HTC..Was it because Legend doesn't have 1Ghz proc? Desire Z may only have 800Mhz under its hood but it was the latest one. Maybe...maybe not.

I got a system update yesterday on my Desire Z while a couple of months ago I was already able to update from 2.2 to 2.2.1 and they're already about to release 2.3? That's why I go for HTC. That's the way to maintain your customers...

This is what really grinds my gears,i love htc sense and my htc desire it was such an innovative phone. Htc's android firmware updates are the best in the industry and i would love my upgrade this year to be for a new htc phone.
However htc have shown appalling innovation in phone design and to call their new phones this year as 'upgrades' is a mammoth overstatment,their literally a step sideways not forwards
