I'm not even able to express my disappointment with Galaxy S software support. I'm still on 2.2 and "this is the latest firmware" (XXJPP, Germany unbranded version). Phone is slower then 2.1, freezes oftenly... Is there any way to update on my own?

I guess the official release is many months away, considering that a far more complete and stable 2.2.1 got leaked almost 3 months back and still not officially available.

2.3.2 and not 2.3.3? Thats like telling Galaxy S owners:
"You have the latest update but not quite the latest. Its not technically outdated YET although your device is capable of supporting the next latest version which has already been released for another device which has almost similiar hardware as yours save from an NFC chip."

Wow, looks like Samsung got their ass into gear! Nice work.
After the painstakingly long wait for 2.2, it's almost as if the speedy 2.3 release is like an apology from them.
Hope it comes with Touchwiz 4.0 too. That looks pretty cool from what I saw.

How i wish the XDA developers get a stable one for the Motorola Milestone. I have the Froyo and I'm loving it. Although the gingerbread-like Cyanogenmod 7 is already out. Probably will wait for a few more months to see if Gingerbread works perfectly.
