the X1 chip is far better than any mobile chip in the market .. because it has special 3D effects from nvidia that other chips cant even draw ... Plus it has a PhysX engine that helps in moving particles in games that is very much needed in very low power system that will reduce performance alot if done using just software .
for the size the battery is also enough but the CPU draws more power than other Tablet CPU , and thats why you can only game 3-4 hours on it. not because it is small battery nor because the CPU is not efficient. the CPU gives you Graphics no other Mobile CPU can give , and that needs more power.
The chip is not outdated , your brain is outdated .

So I get that this is a tech site, but at the end of the day video games and the systems we play them on should not be a case of " Ughhhh my mettallic D**K is bigger than that other systems, the games we play are the important part, Zelda breath of the wild, is by far one of the greatest games I've ever played and it isnt running at 60 FPS in 1080P. Call me a fanboy but I'd rather have a system like the switch that I can play anywhere, alongside my vita and 3DS.

Thank you, next time I won't make the same mistake... When you know more facts about a topic it can be frustrating(infuriating even) to see people which talk shit, but you should remember that even you didn't knew many things sometime in the past and you made mistakes, so the best thing you can do is to explain why someone is not right from the beginning , not just point out, a comment like this would have been more constructive "man, stop comparing Switch's mAh battery capacity to phones, because they have different voltage and that means different battery capacity in reality, but you can convert the mAh capacity to Watt hour and then compare them". Like this less people will talk shit thanks to you.

I compare this device to phones because it has display as big as a phone with a tablet SOC and battery as big as some phones...shortly it resembles a phone/tablet in hardware and they use the same technology of battery, so why shouldn't I compare their stamina?

Good to know it has LPDDR4 and that the device is smart enough to reduce the GPU power when at 720p.

So there is the commodity hardware and there is the much more expensive "software". Prices of each depends on how mass the market is. That should be enough for your funnel atm
