Anonymous, 10 Mar 2017It's a low-priced phone. What did you expect? Yes it's a low priced phone but it shouldn't have such outdated specs, there should have been at least 32gb of internal memory and 3gb of ram, I'm sure they could have managed this within a tight budget, but honestly 16gb makes it totally irrelevant.
CHU PALA, 10 Mar 2017hahaha crying for an update, you are going to move to another brand just for an insignificant ... moreYes, I agree 110 % with you. Asus Zenfone 2 Laser ZE601KL could not be updated in OS due to fota error. I am stuck with the factory ver 5.0 OS. So I will stay away from ZTE and Asus henceforth. So, Xiaomi is still ok in its frequent updates of MIUI although not direct versions of OS, but Xiaomi does its job to give updates without any sick fota error. So, I will not buy any Asus product from 12 march 2017.. So what if it is the major maker of pc motherboards... its CS sucks money and give you shit.
outright lousy specs. Why make lousy phones?? Maybe it is targeting low income countries which still use 2G bands.
AnonD-392306, 10 Mar 2017Oh dear 2gb ram and 16gb memory 2013 specs!It's a low-priced phone. What did you expect?

I would rather go with XiaoMi. The price, support and all is way better in every way compared to ZTE. ZTE is a total trash.
I will never ever buy another ZTE device. I bought the ZTE Axon Elite A2016 which was introduced late in the Androind 5 (Lollipop) cycle and we were promised that we would get the next operating system Marshmallow (we should have gotten two more (ie. AND Nougat) considering how late in Android 5's timeline ZTE A2016 was released).
They kept stringing us along - then they release the next big flagship phone - ZTE Axon 7 - and all the owners of the previous flagship were forgotten. We never even got a patch, etc. The user community is also VERY small so it is hard to get custom roms, support, tips, etc
This is the difference between buying trustworthy international brands like Samsung, LG, HTC, etc (I know ZTE is a big brand in China, etc). I was a Samsung user for 10 years (back from Windows phones) and now my next upgrade will be again a major brand name.
Stay away from ZTE if you want to receive operating system updates and not be forgotten after they have your $$$.
