I don't understand why they released a phone with a outdated processor. But I was only referring to their flagships, and the HTC 10 which came out 1 year ago has the 820. The U Ultra the 821, and hopefully the 11 will have 835. But they are mad releasing outdated midrangers at those prices.

Used to be my favorite OEM. Still I like their design but lacks of great support. Well most of the big guys are like that. Great phones then software support is just bad.

Everything Apple make is overpriced. The track record of HTC over the last few years is on the whole pretty poor. Imagine bringing out a phone with the SD810 with its known issues after the 821 and still trying to charge nearly full price. That's not hating it is simply taking a look at reality and making judgements and observations accordingly. One good phone does not make up for all the poor ones.

I am pretty sure that the HTC 10 is better than any phone that all haters who posted below have ever owned. Bunch of cretins. The HTC Vive is also regarded as the best VR out there. So yes, if you do not like quality products, stick with Samsung.
I agree that mid rangers are overpriced, but seriously now... Why don't you complain the same when the iPhone SE is 500Euros ?

It's time for HTC to bring out the MediaTek Helio X30 if it to stay in the game in 2017, HTC hasn't been making any break throught with the recent line of midrange & enrty level phones.

HTC has fallen so far off my radar I'm not the least bit interested and I have a feeling there are lots of people who just don't care,too.
Teasers are just a waste of time if you don't have an audience and I don't think they have one.
For the record I didn't even read the news story just wanted to comment how overwhelmingly uninterested I am in this company.
