JordanBaby, 17 Mar 2017Yeah and you can't seem to continue the argument, rather calling me in a way I never called yo... moreAnd now you continue side tracking. No. You were called out but is obviously useless to argue with you. Just like now. You were burned with a great point but just ramble on and on.
You're just stuck in this whole superiority thing and nobody here cam change that. Troll elsewhere
JordanBaby, 17 Mar 2017I've said that statement because it's basically a fact and has been proven for a billion times... moreOr you are just acting like the other fanatic sony fans and they called you out for acting just the war they described
People have become so unreasonable in their demands. It's funny because they complain that technology isn't advancing as quickly as they want when they aren't the slightest bit contributory to such advancement. Self-entitled brats, the lot of you.

The note series does not wish to compete with the s series. It's meant for those who value productivity on a portable device. It's not samsung's fault the numbers rival those of the s devices. Milking? Maybe for someone who doesn't comprehend utility. Maybe someone like you.

can store MORE apps on memory? lmao
AnonD-621510, 18 Mar 2017Unbeatable at single core but never good at multi core. Apple SoC was beaten already until the M*nkeys changed the scoring algorithm.
See this comparison between A9 and SD821
Just look at how magically they dragged down the score of SD821 just to make it look like even the A9 is a superior device that these iD!*ts are drooling all over.
When you adjust something it should affect all SoCs equally think of 3DMark and PCMark. For some reason, these m*nkeys have smoked some pot and changed the scoring algorithm in favor of Apple SoC.
Anonymous, 17 Mar 2017In your dreams whatever see on YouTube iPhone 7 crushed one plus 3t in speed test big LOL
yy, 17 Mar 2017Single-core score is like running on 1 leg. Few years ago x64 came. And when you find a way to run with 1 strong leg then it'll be better than 2 weak legs ... Apple A10 The Unbeatable Is Here...
Anonymous, 17 Mar 2017And your proof is where? Anandtech, i presume. Their review from earlier this week of the kirin 960.
The fab process shouldn't be an issue for the mali since it's running at, relatively, low frequencies.
AnonD-594740, 17 Mar 2017Wow! Almost no improvement over the s7 exynos. A huge let down...Comparing it with the same orange (i.e Android vs Android), yes that is true for CPU performance. But the GPU might be where the monster is hiding and the power efficiency.
Droid, 18 Mar 2017Why people will buy phones only for benchmark results. They are happy with benchmark results t... moreI voted for gsmarena.com to completely remove benchmarks from reviews (and voiced my opinions many times in this).
GSMarena keeps them in though because they make reviewing easier. Unfortunately they end up presenting what is mostly qualitative data (sense of responsiveness) as quantitative data (single numbers from benchmarks of dubious methodology).... which obviously leads to many misunderstandings.
Benchs saw peak performance which depending on the use can be anything from 3% to 0.1% of the use of the phone from a given user. The practicality of knowing those numbers is close to nil. They're not completely irelevant numbers but they are certainly far less relevant numbers than IO performance and RAM retention (how many apps are allowed to be loaded on ram at once), neither of which are being presented. Not to speak of less tangible things like animations.
So while not outright lying , those numbers do tell a very small part of the truth, compounded by the fact that the more relevant parts of perceived performance are often not being referred to at all I do believe that many reviews are a powerful source of misinformation.
I voted for the ban of benchs from review sites because that would at least lower the occurrence of misinformation on "technically correct" reviews. Lower the amount of error in trying to describe the performance.
Of course GSMArena is unlike to listen to me. Like I said synthetic benchs are too easy to run to turn down. I'd much prefer a periphrastic explanation of performance than raw numbers though. The readers would actually get a better image...
Why people will buy phones only for benchmark results. They are happy with benchmark results that only benchmark apps can put smartphones in these absolute limits. Usual tasks like facebook whatsapp or some games in the market will never put yours smartphone to the top limits so we are happy with performances smartphones will never reach appart from benchmarks tests. This is a big mistake guys.
AnonD-631839, 17 Mar 2017*claps* This guy summed up the story.people also buy phones because they envy their enemies or it's just a trend
