I remeber one of the developers from Google tweeting there are no processor requirements for Honeycomb.
I say this 2.3 update for Galaxy S by the end of March is 50-50. I'm using the leaked 2.3.2 (JVI) the firmware is not yet stable & laggy. I doubt that Samsung can fix it before March 30

Galaxy 3 and 5 getting froyo.........really awesome. i own motorola xt3 quench which is not getting froyo update. really dissatisfied with this phone. worst customer service by motorola. thumbs up samsung. i am your next customer. just counting my days to get rid of motorola quench. :-(

I dont get y ppl r thankin samsung... They have been poor for support, i flashed 2.2.1 months ago coz samsung is to slow, by the time u acually get these updates the galaxy s 2 will be out.

It's better , if samsung deliver over air update without distrubing apps and contacts...just like htc wildfire and desire..

I'm already on GingerBread (XWJV1):P Its a bit buggy though, not that bad for a day to day use however.
Besides, really look forward to the stable/official release of GB for my sgs machine :-)

Excellent.... Had my Samsung galaxy S for two month now and off the shelf running 2.2 froyo, got minor updates and see after the Gingerbread update, will it be as fast as my other Samsung(Nexus S) although had already minor update on the Gingerbread... I'm samsung for life dudes....

LOL...... It is still 2.2 Froyo with lot of bugs in Malaysia.................... It will deffinitely great if we can get 2.2.1 before end of this month then 2.3 later.................
