AnonD-69139, 17 Mar 2017This is the reason i haven't moved on from xperia devices since many years. My first xperia wa... moreYou can say about any brand. My mum still uses a htc one+ which is perfectly fine. My dads got an iphone 4s which is going strong still after a few battery changes.
I had a Sony Z2 that was frankly terrible
Mobile phone manufactures rushing to get there product on the market before anyone else always seem's to backfire!
At&t sucks for selling this phone! I have the same problem not even done paying the phone off 1 year and it is dead!!!!!this is Bull shit!
LG should at least offer repair services to G4 & V10 for the devices entire life span not just under warranty, or better yet replace them with a newer model handset that hasn't experienced bootlooping.
i used to rave about LG phones, since back then THEY were the bang-for-the-buck, but ever since that bootloop issue starting on the G3, and apparently continued with their latest phones, not so much. doesnt make sense to buy a phone that dies after a year.
Justice must be made, LG must pay, it's unacceptable for 700$ phones (then, in 2015).
LG won't recover from this, Huawei will eventually eat their lunch and dinner. Samsung you're next.
G4 and v10 should packed with sd810 not 808.....a disaster
Lg g flex 2 with sd810 free from bootloop.....
Anonymous, 17 Mar 2017What's this got to do with this articleLots of Sony fans here on this website for some reason.
Give them all G5's!
it's a perfect solution.
LG gets rid of some of that stock pile of phones and they'll have nothing to whine about... plus they'll never own another LG again
i am one affected of the situation, had to send back my G4 to China from East Africa at my own cost...BIGGEST MISTAKE by LG
LG is an amazing brand. Loving my G5 with zero bootloops. But their 2015 flagships were both duds thanks to these faulty engineering. All manufacturers will have issues though. Remember, Toyota? They had a recall that actually killed someone. Toyota rebounded after their recall in 2009-2010. They had it worse than the Note7.
I like LG because they are quietly innovative. Others continue to copy them. I have two Blu-ray players, one from LG and the other from Sony. The Sony can't read DiVX and certain AVI formats. I need to use an mp4 converter. The LG could read 99% at whatever I throw at it. Funny because Sony was the one who invented Blu-ray but an LG can do it better and cheaper. The menu UI is also nicer with LG.
Don't overhype Sony to me. The better Japanese brand in the 1990's was Panasonic. They still have devices that still work 20+ years later. And my Samsung 50" Full HD died after 6 years. Samsung wanted $1,200 to have it fixed. F Samsung.
First time I hear about this bootloop. Was about to buy G4 last year, they sell pretty cheap now, $200 or so. I had two LG phones before - LG 200 and Nexus 4. I used Nexus 4 for over 3 years, the best phone I've ever had. It is still alive and working great with latest Pure Nexus ROM.
Great news for all those who consider LG as an amazing brand, lol, really disappointing
I have the same problem with my V10. Just went blank and tried to reboot.
Boot up to LG screen and went blank after that. Spent almost $800 for a piece of junk. Shame shame LG, going back to Samsung .
Belly , 17 Mar 2017Finally LG may go out of business. This pile of shit company deserves that. I had a terrible expirence with lg too....
But i dnt think this mini hiccup is gonna put dem out of business
My LG G4 is just eating dust on the shelf, shame LG did nothing to support....im not gonna by LG phone ever!!
