Anonymous, 10 Mar 2011All right. Good luck trying to make a call with your iPhone 4.iPhone 4 make call better than your Nokia buggie software that can't fixed even with an update and hardware defficate and by the way the glass in iPhone 4 more stronger than your steel/ aluminum body
Ok it's half touch but why nokia still making phones with symbian 3^?! Symbian it's dead os now nokia going to has N8, C7,C6-01,E7,x7,E6-00?!!! All those phones how nokia gone update all of them if the Symbian dead within less than year! Or just playing around as usual and nokia want to sell the last symbian phones by force.
It is not a first nokia that packs a screen ofa bigger resolution then nHD. The nokia n900 had a even bigger one.
Maamoun, 10 Mar 2011I'm sure 100% it's gonna be a touch Nokia Smartphone First : The Proximity sensor beside the ... moreS40 is really a java platform, not completely an Operating System. Anyway this phone will have Symbian ^3 OS. I would have glad if the phone screen were 2.8 inch.
I'm sure 100% it's gonna be a touch Nokia Smartphone
First : The Proximity sensor beside the front facing camera lense .
Second : The 4 dots at the bottom of the screen which defines it's gonna be a symbian^3 , and it wont be s40 because the style of the battery and the network indicator are symbian's style
Probably a symbian 3, hope so.
A wasted opportunity. Too much space wasted on the bottom and in the middle just below the screen, Could have been a contender for the Motorola Pro, even with Symbian, if they had put a bigger (say 3 inch) screen. Such a pity. I would go for the new Samsung with qwerty and touchscreen + Android.
I am looking forward to the release of this Phone, but it would be a crying shame if it ships with Symbian S40, at the very least it must have the S60 OS and it would be better if it had the Symbian^3
Anybody eyeing to buy a Symbian device today, don't. You'll only get disappointed as I do. I've been a hardcore and loyal Nokia user for 10 years now. And every Nokia phone I've dealt with all have some sort of problem, either software or hardware. So it's bye bye Nokia for me now. I'm gonna sell my 2-month old N8 and switching to iPhone 4. I don't think I'll ever get back to Nokia again.
Its a S40.The UI is so simple to be a Symbian. Oh, the come to think of it the two OSes look likes the same
