OMG ppl stop saying that Xperia Play is better than SGS. I mean come on, we have gingerbread which does all the tricks already, we have extreme performance. Se uses Scorpions meanwhile Samsung uses the amazing Hummingbird which we all know that performs best in games as a single core. I play dungeon defenders at max settings with no problem. The Super Amoled screen makes all the difference. Plus i watch all movies and play all games on my big tv. I ave Ubuntu on my SGS, bluetooth keyboard and mouse. This phone is Ultimate. Only dual core phones outbest the SGS but that is allright as I am getting the Galaxy S II. So please stop saying that SE Play is better than SGS. It is not, is an old hardware phone, which comes to late to the market(in a dual core era Se launches a single core ... i mean come on) and only has a better camera. Thats all that SE knows to fit more MEGAPIXELS...but the camera video recording is not that good anyway.

For the sake of argument, we can never really compare PSP 2 against EXPERIA PLAY because:
1. PSP 2 is purely for gaming while EXPERIA PLAY is Gaming+Call+Text
2. Both will be having different Technical Specs and performance
3. PSP 2 will not run on an Android OS but EXPERIA PLAY will be
4. Games for both consoles may have the same name but it doesn't mean that their gameplay and program will be the same. EXPERIA PLAY will have its games retro-fitted for the Android OS while PSP 2 games will have it programmed specifically for PSP 2. EXPERIA PLAY doesn't even have the platform to play PSP games yet. So why compare the games in the first place? Another thing to note is that emulators for old consoles are now applicable for Android systems while it is yet to be created for PSP2 (not even sure if it's compatible/applicable).
5. Each machine caters to a different market/lifestyle. If you want a purely gaming console with new games, maximum gaming experience and good graphics in only one machine, then by all means, choose the PSP2. If you are gamer that's always on the go, wants to have both phone and game console in one machine, and loves old console games that is playable in an emulator then EXPERIA PLAY is for you.
Therefore, the 2 machines cannot be pitted against each other.
Moving forward, PLEASE REFRAIN FROM POSTING COMMENTS ABOUT PSP2 VS. EXPERIA PLAY. There's no connection other than both can play games. This forum is exclusive for mobile phones and NOT Handheld Gaming consoles.

The neo Falls in Build in Memory Which is not Big Deal as All phones Are hving 32Gb Micro SD.I am also Waiting for Xperia Neo.

Exh... moreI don't think there's any argument that Sony has not and does not blatantly grabbed at others' innovations. However the controls on the Xperia Play are, IMHO, a genuine innovation that seems obvious but only now that it's been done. Like the D-pad or analogue triggers (Nintendo and Sega respectively).
I leave discussion of the NGP to gaming forums as it doesn't really fit in here at GSMA.

Exhibit B: Backwards Compatibility (Nintendo and Sega had BC Waaaayyyy before Sony)
Exhibit C: Touch Screen implementation into NGP (Next Gen Portable) even though they even stole the initials of their portable from Neo Geo Pocket.
The List goes on. I have respect for Sony, as long as it has Nothing to do with Video Games. They've proven themselves uncreative and thieverous time and time again. Now I will give them credit for bringing DVD playability to consoles but thats about it.

Comparing gS1 and Xperia Neo...
-Up to date software out of the box.
-neo will prob recieve another software upgrade, where as gS1 should be reaching the end of its software support.
-camera of course, that has to be mentioned even if its not your main concern.
-design.
