Zenodroid, 26 Mar 2017930 for a handgranade ? Sounds fairYes true. Lol
I would buy a Redmi Note 4 4gb 64 gb
185€ X 4 for my entire family with accesories
Againts the costlier Samsung S8 or s8 +
I think fair price would be 800€ - 888€

hey guyz all u know that every this flagship smartphone by orginal its cost only 190$ or less than 170-80$.
if u compare with iphone. it will cost 170-5$.
so I think the price of samsung s8 is too much.its better for 900£ or 930$.

I know that the darn thing doesn't cost anywhere near $900 to build, so why should it cost that much? Why should they charge $500 more than it costs to make the darn thing, when I could just buy another manufacturer's similar offering for much less
930 euros would be a fair price for two S8's.
460 euros for a black 1+3T is a great deal!

Most people I've met using the Samsung flagships are not that technologically inclined (but they are rich).
The real geeks will get either Nexus/Pixel or OnePlus phones. They know better about the spec they get for their money, and/or stock Android experience.

It's not just Americans. The rich people in developing countries will buy these expensive phones regardless of the price for status symbol. That's why Samsung separate the launch date between the S series and the Note series, so those people looking for the latest status symbol will change their phones twice in a year.
It's not for those value oriented users, it's for the ones who want latest and greatest tech in their smartphone. Who want the best looking smartphone with best available features. If you care about value so much go for a mid range phone.
It is fair. Why? Because nobody's forcing you to buy it. If you bought it, that means the price is fair to you.
Personally, I'm not going to give Samsung my money since there's no value for me for their premium pricing. I can buy a Xiaomi every 6 months and still have extra money in my pocket. An Android phone is an Android phone. You can add all the shine and polishes you want, but you will be running the same apps as the next guy with a $200 Android phone. And it's not like Samsung is giving you any better support or superior experience than the rest of the OEMs for the price.
If people would get smart and refuse to pay the high price and boycott buying any phone that price, Guess what ?
The price would come down and you might even be surprised how much it would come down.
But don't worry that will never happen because the american consumer just isn't that smart.
Fair price for samsung? With note7 case, galaxy s3 screen easy to crack and the only flagship with lated and updated only once lol
Absolutely not!!
And everybody knows what is a Samsung smartphone, use for somedays then threw away
Gsmarena you shouldve waited till official announcement official price may be lower or maybe samsung will have something up its sleeves to justify the price its too early to vote now
OH MY GOD, Samsung... Are kidding us with this price or killing us, it is just bezelless s7edge (0_0).
I suppose many buy it in a long term contract where the price is included in it. But I buy mine devices unlocked. And for the european market there a lot of Chinese options that support the band frequencies here.
Just ordered a Vernee Apollo X, a sort of a affordable "flagship" alternative. But decent specs.
Is it me or does anyone else also feel that this thing was inspired from the HTC U Ultra in terms of pricing
