is the price confirmed? I think its pre mature to debate on something that hasn't been confirmed? So before throwing stones get the facts straight. Wait for its release and debate as much as you want if needed.
probably fair price, but not great value for money. Let's how fast it charges if it's within 90mins from zero to hero
They should have made a smaller cheaper option.
Not happening for me. Just because I can afford it, doesn't mean I'll blindly throw the cash out buying their new overpriced toy. Waiting for Huawei P10 Plus or perhaps I will go with Mate 9 Pro. Samsung is pushing the prices up, because they know that hardcore fans will still pay (even if they won't eat for 2 weeks after). Exactly the same strategy as Apple, push to the breaking point. You don't like it? Tough life, but if people would be a bit smart about it, wait and drop down the preorder numbers, then next year phone would be cheaper. But hey, it's your cash, do what you want.
Love the design. Hate the price. Hate the small battery. Hate the 4gb RAM. Why did Samsung go from the manufacturer who offers the biggest batteries to now cutting back? If Xiaomi can put a 4000mah in their phones then why can't Samsung do the same?
930 pounds, 1800? oh hehhh harrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr you got to be joking?????? is it a car??
AnonD-458877, 26 Mar 2017I am so glad they did this poll and most of voters agree with me,No phone is worth more than 7... morewhat are you talking about iphone 7 plus is $949, where did you get %759?
This ugly and crappy 4gb Ram and a shty Cpu with along junk 3400m battery is pure ripof
These are consumerism times, the number of people willing to give around 1000 euros for a new device every year (2 years limited official support and updating) is increasing. Because major brands break their own sales record each year so, eventually S8 will sell faster and more than S7 was. People are free to do with their money what they want even if it means loosing a great deal of other crucial things.
Over price...!!!
Heck no i think the price increase has something to do with their failed note 7 they lost a billion on revenues.
Ohhhh! pricing too much.. Samsung thinks Over pricing will lead to hold NO.1 status. This is too much else Samsung will gradually loose its customers. Good luck upcoming models. You will have a better future.
samsung will learn a lot in 2017, after the note 7 prices should go down not up really and same goes with apple , oppo and each oem that thinks its the only choice out there
Two camera sensors dont matter at all - I have no clue why you guys mention it in the poll like its an important feature missing. If it missed an sd card slot or a bigger camera sensor, that would be a big drama for the price. From what we know, the fairly small battery size is a problem. Any of those is waay more serious than lack of two cameras, which is just a seasonal gimmick like 3d was.
Benny, 26 Mar 2017For what that kind of money...nothing new same ram same display same camera .....thank you Sam... moreClearly you didn't read the article, "Plus, a new generation of Super AMOLED is bound to bring improvements." And you can say that about practically any new phone that debuts every year.
Anonymous, 26 Mar 2017People complaining here would not buy it anyway......also wait until they announce it before crying LOL exactly!
The question isn't if it's a fair price, the question is if there are enough foolish people who will pay it.
