Well if people buy the iPhone 7 with a 720p lo-res screen for 800 then this is fine
People complaining here would not buy it anyway......also wait until they announce it before crying
It will cost 500 euros within 3 months. Apple and Google can price their devices there because they don't plummet the price so fast. Buying a Samsung on release is insane
It's ridiculous!! I mean it! If Sammy can set up the price that night sure thing Apple will surpass 1kÂ!! I hope people will wake up and look for normal prices elsewhere!
I was sceptical but recently bought Redmi 4 Prime and I couldn't be happier! And the price!? Lower than 200Â! One can buy phones for whole family!
One plus 5... Curved display, 6/8 GB RAM, SD835, 128/256 gb storage, 4000 mah... and almost half of the price... And do not to forget - kernel sources published same day as public debut... Samsung ... 930Â ... Hahaha...

4. People having brains and valuing their money.
(4 of the poll options respectively.)
Not even if I had all the money in the world. I have my own fixes about these, I almost never paid more than 300$ on a phone. The only phone for which I paid more was the iPhone 5 back in the day because I fell in love with it, but that was 500$, nowhere near almost 1000$ like rumors are saying about this S8. Right now I'm using a Samsung Galaxy A5 2016, it's an awesome phone, but for what it looks like, my next phone might be the next OnePlus if they keep the same price OP3 first had (400$), I won't pay a penny more. And yes, I can afford any phone with a month's worth of salary, but let's face it, it's a damn phone.
A Samsung/HTC/Sony flagship should not be more than 600$. OnePlus/Xiaomi and Huawei shouldn't require more than 400$ on their flagships and midrange phones should be half that. Apple can request as much as they want, I'm an Android guy.
No.. This is not the right price.
The price is too high for a device prone to scratches both front and back and battery cannot even last for an entire day. and then after buying this you will be looking for a leather case and again spending money on it.
If you're rich ofc you don't care. Most of us aren't. I'm waiting to see how much this phone costs manufacture. Probably ~$400 with all taxes and the rest is profit.
iron wolve, 26 Mar 2017dual camera are uselessCan't totally agree with you that they're useless. They may add something to the original experience, but it is not a deal breaker by any means..... Not even for the most die hard photography enthusiast.
But that option in poll says that no matter how good or bad the features, tech, built quality, service and etc etc are for the 930 price, the only thing which can justify it is the dual camera.
That's pretty cheap. The phone shouldn't cost anything less than 2k Euros. I don't know why Samsung is giving this gem away for free and yet people are whining. You just can't make some people happy.
You all are being ripped off, in my country the s7e was around 650$ 1 month after release. Initially at 710$
In my country the S6 & S7 (32GB) are Â450 & Â530.
Now that the S8 is gonna be released, the S7 will become cheaper and I might buy it!
*I want the bigger screen & battery the S7 Edge offers but I personally don't like the edge screen. Also the S7 active who has an even bigger battery,it's only available in the US. :/
Fact:-1 NOTE-7 users will get 50% discount on S-8. But if S-8's price cross 900$ tag then they should get at least 75% discount..... Fact:-2 Samsung's phone are being neglected for their high prices in south asian countries & in china. 'cause who'll buy such kind of phone here with 950$ price tag when they can buy upcoming xiaomi mi 6 which costs 350$ ??? :3 :3 :3 I think S-8's price should be around 700$ so that they can beat G-6 and rival with Mi-6 in china :) :)
PLAYER SLAYER, 26 Mar 2017I know that the darn thing doesn't cost anywhere near $900 to build, so why should it cost tha... morei agree, the S7Edge had a bill of materials at around $250, i expect this thing to come in around $300 but even still when it retails for the first 6 weeks at nearly 1000euros seems excessive, mind you the iphone 7+ had a bill of materials at $220 and has way less top notch components in it, this is the market now i guess
