Also had arrived in my country (Malaysia)...i think the price is quite reasonable.., wonder why this set price in my country just $700++.. original set by authorised dealer..,Thorus...maybe LG is not popular among Malaysian..?? Anyhow., i think this phone will be my next phone ...SOON...hmmmmmmm...

These are two totally different devices for totally different purposes.
And yes, I agree with you the $800 price is a little bit of an overkill.
I will wait a little bit for more competition and see how the prices drop :)

Google made it verly clear that this has been supported since android 2.2 (froyo)
Please dont spread incorrect information i have seen this statement posted everywhere and it is simply not true, if you disagree check out the google dev page where it clearly states 2.2 introduces support for dual core :)

I'm still not totally sold on the overall advantages of a d... moreyeah and android cant use the dual core yet because it is not supported. only 3.0 honeycomb has multithread as far as I know. I do have a g tablet with tegra 2 and yes it is fast but is it using dual cores properly? not likely. also battery life on my tegra 2 device is sub par, my g tablet will drain its self in one day even without use compared to my archos 101 which last 2 or 3 days with use. I do really like the benefits of multi core systems but I hope they start to take advantage of them soon.

$800.00! no wonder lg did not made an official announcement coz they know the price is too high. only iphone can sell with that kind of price and lg is no iphone. they dont have steve jobs.
