Nautilis , 28 Mar 2017Haha what utter rubbish! Your just an Apple user posing as Android user! No sensible person wo... moreContrary to your standard response (in your first paragraph anyway) I have only used 2 iPhones in my life, a 4s and a 6s. I used the 4s for less than a month and 3 months the 6s.
I wish I could lay my hands on a Pixel in my country. Nothing! No stock anywhere. The only one I saw in a shop is ridiculously priced. By the way, I have used all Nexus phones, bar the Galaxy Nexus, from the Nexus S to 6P. Let's agree that what is coming out of Android camp, like you said, in this quarter is boring!!

AnonD-643350, 28 Mar 2017Why not the US? They are belittling others,by this they mean that Americans are wise enough no... moreNo, because Americans have the tendency to sue people over everything and Samsung doesn't want to get involved in a long and costly court battle.
"...solely to reduce and minimize any environmental impact"? A load. The environmental impact exists whether the devices are sold or not. And may in fact be larger by distributing the devices as some people probably just bins the devices in the end. Unless of course Samsung itself planned on doing just that. On the device not becoming available in the US - could it be because the risk of explosion is not completely eradicated and Samsung is afraid of more expensive recalls or lawsuits version 2?
I for one will be waiting in line to buy the refurbished note 7.. And I know millions of others will do too

Why not the US? They are belittling others,by this they mean that Americans are wise enough not to buy this and the rest are geek enough to go for it?wow
This is such a good news. There's no doubt in my mind that the price would be much lower now.
apo, 28 Mar 2017will it be called the Galaxy Nope7?Best reply I've seen!
I would buy one just to own a piece of history.
I am from India, and yes I'm ready for this Note 7.
Please make it soon Samsung.
I hope the refurbished units won't have the same fate. Samsung can fix the battery issue before flying them off the shelves. I'll sure buy one if I get a good deal.
if the price is right and no removal of features (addition is a bonus) but only a smaller battery, then YES.
Android ftw !
I miss my Note 7 :(

Stupid really. Doesn't sound like something a big company would ever contemplate doing...

You know, I personally think using iphone is a better option if you travel to Hong Kong or China a lot. I assumed you can afford any flagship phone out there. You shouldnt be looking at refurbished phone.
Joselius, 28 Mar 2017You make it sound like airline is your daily transport. What are you? A pilot? A cabin crew? I travel a lot for work, sometimes multiple times a month. Is that so unusual? Every airline in HK has a big sign saying the Note 7 is banned.
