AnonD-2881, 16 Mar 2011ahem ahem,oh we know you are not talking about sony or motorola :PIm actually talking about Samsung, LOL!
What a load of bull, LG. There's no such thing as "doesn't meet the minimum requirements" with Android. Google did not place any minimum requirements for a device to capably run Android. The Optimus One has a 512MB RAM and a 600MHz processor which is more than sufficient to officially run Gingerbread.
If no update for LG Op1 as promised. I'm boycotting LG forever and will not buy its phone again..... no matter what's in line.
My P500 is waiting to taste the tasty Gingerbread~ =D
Uh, "available in the marketplace" the hell?
I'm thinking this LG rep has no idea wtf he's talking about.
Raj, 16 Mar 2011Im shocked that a mid range phone could run 2.3, other phone makers should take notes from LG,... moreahem ahem,oh we know you are not talking about sony or motorola :P
At least we got the 2.2.2 update, so we know LG hasn't forgotten this phone (yet)
Im shocked that a mid range phone could run 2.3, other phone makers should take notes from LG, not that im giving any names =D
I hope some improvement on voice calling, since my device frequently has some issues, sometimes the call is awfull. Another issue is random reboot.
