Well well well, this can be possible when these phones' price start coming down eventually in 6 months time. again if they can make promotional sales some times it can help the sales. Those who buy phones at reduced price are many than those who buy the phones at launched price. The launched prices are very expensive so real phone users wait a little to get it reduced so they can buy one for themselves. When S8 comes down to less than $600 I and my other friends will get one each. So we are waiting for that time to come. We love this phone so much.
What ? I want to sell my s7 edge because of the damn edges, now you say s8 will be better ? With no home key and that fingerprint sensor ? I'm going for sony or iphone ...

So Note 4 is still Samsung's best phone, but unfortunately camera is now pretty outdated, making it less of an appealing option for people who want a more practical phone than shiny jewel like phone covered with glass

I also miss s pen and removable battery. But my note 4 after 2,5yrs needed 2 new batteries and a back cover plus Ive broke glass covering camera so would have to sort that too. Supercharge on mate 9 is actually great (from 20% in 30mins to about 70%) I cant see much difference between 1080 and 1440 (not using vr at all) and Im not worried about updates (got 2 so far on mate over last 2 wks) as I usually change my phone every year so no problem there. I will have a close look when note comes out without edge screen and glass back. Cant stand neither of these.

Worse camera (Note 4's is still one of the best)
Less battery (you can always buy a gargantuan aftermarket or carry a spare w Note 4)
Far more charging time (again popping a spare vs 2 hours of quick charging)
Worse screen (Note 4 has some of the moat natural colours ever, also 1440p)
Better software support (Note 4 is getting updatea w stable community Roms and will continue do so for ages).
No s-pen (obviously)
The only thing you get over Note 4 (w Mate 9) is better SoC (but not by much if you use Exynos variant of Note 4) and since Huawei's software is heavy, you could simply get that kind of performance by installing AOSP on your Note.
I'm still surprised that people would swap Note 4 with anything. It's one of the last grest phones. Few have risen up to challenge it in the last few years. It's a classic, a bit like BMW 3 Series. You don't sell such a car to buy a Fiat, you keep it for posterity (and it's probably better than anything you're going to buy anyway). I'm shocked!
Ive given up on samsung. Dont like edge screen, dont like all glass build. Bought mate 9 to replace my note 4 and Im happy with it.

JordanBaby, 31 Mar 2017So what if I tell you that my sister's G4 with 3GB of RAM is capable enough to run high end 4K... moreYeah.. sony phones are even faster than super computers because of software optimizations. Lmfao!
JordanBaby, 31 Mar 2017So what if I tell you that my sister's G4 with 3GB of RAM is capable enough to run high end 4K... moreNo it does not. Sony phones drop background apps and then have to reload them as well as reload the youtube buffer. I own a Sony phone, it's not some magical device that can store more than its ram dictates. OnePlus is quite faster simply because it rarely loads new apps even games.
Ram speed is important between devices with the same amount of ram and equally good ram management. It's irrelevant when one devices has almost everything stored in ram, while the other is recalling from nand. Even "slow" ram wins over nand 100 times over.
Ram caching is basically the primary way to make android fast. Sony does not get it, so she is stingy with ram amount allowing Chinese nobodies being the performance champs foe years in a row.
I doubt it..
The fingerprint placement, uh.. And it's thicker than S7.. That ugly symbol (home, menu, back)..
I dont want to buy it..
I hope samsung does an S8 mini. Currently use a Samsung a3 2017 which I love due to the compact size and comfortable ergonomics. Just imagine a 4.7-5 inch screen S8 mini the same size as an iPhone se but obviously with flagship specs unlike previous mini iterations. Would deffo buy one!!!.
Anonymous, 30 Mar 2017You don't use 44%, android drops background apps. You misunderstand the point of ram. It's ... moreThat's very incorrect. It's not the RAM that affects the speed, rather it's the RAM SPEED and software optimization, and OnePlus nailed the RAM SPEED, but not so much with software optimization, which explains why even the underdogs like the XZ still beats it in some speed test areas like web browsing
Sun, 30 Mar 2017it is not actually, considering the use of VR in 4K and graphics processing. So what if I tell you that my sister's G4 with 3GB of RAM is capable enough to run high end 4K graphic VR apps decently if not flawlessly? And no, RAM DOES NOT affect the overall performance of the phone, CPU power and software optimization DOES benefit, which is why Sony phones even with 3GB of RAM still outdoes the phones with larger RAM capacity including OnePlus 3 and 3T
With all of that great innovations? *sigh* Good luck with that LOL
Price it by $500 us dollar and it will beat all the record even by other brand.
