Since it is announced as moto mod, it will be a kind of accessory which instead of providing nice little device actually will add another half a kilo to the huge moto Z.
It's there in youtube... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jtq_tndk0q8
Good handset. I still have mine but the screen has been damaged after 4 years of rough usage.
Always wondered if moto will release new one. Finally, a new flip phone :-)
Motorola are just copying the technique Nokia used with the new 3310.
Trying to get publicity but it wont work because 3310 > Razr
Interesting to see if they come up with a mod with a second display.
Anonymous, 31 Mar 2017Copy Nokia much no?Not ripping off nokia on this. I hope that all the classics get a rebirth in a trend for 2017-18.
nepu77, 31 Mar 2017No wonder Moto razr was popular by let's agree that it was popular amongst female users onlyYes, because masculinity is as fragile as glass, even a phone with sexy design can shatter people's masculinity.
Ah, I think I can guess. Some form of flip cover that actually activates the dialer when opened, and then ends a call when closed. One of the nice things about flip phones.
I had one, and hated it. Everyne I knew that had one, also hated it. There are no "fond" memories.
Anonymous, 31 Mar 2017Copy Nokia much no?Maybe yes, but I hope won't be just a 2 band and 2G only device...
Cimeryd, 31 Mar 2017I want a foldable phone with a proper camera. I'm in Norway. I've been waiting for five years ... moreIf this will be just a RAZR reloaded, will be great for my mother.
A newer RAZR version for me, shall have 2 LCD screens, a 4.5" - 4.7" on the top with absolutely no bezels, an other on the bottom to show (alternate) the typing keyboard or the dial one. Also, the top of the lower display can carry the Android touch buttons (home, last app, etc).
Not to mention LTE, GPS, WiFi, better camera, etc, etc, not like Nokia 3310 (2017).

I want a foldable phone with a proper camera. I'm in Norway. I've been waiting for five years now for just one company to release a foldable phone with a proper camera here. Samsung has one, but they only want to sell it in China. LG Wine came here, but they put a crappy camera into it. I'm hopeful, but I suspect this will either be crap,or the same freaking huge screen plank that all the manufacturers think is innovative.
