so all those commercials for $10/month data plan are gonna go to garbage. ATT said it introduce tmobile customers to their great smart mobile phone data plans, which means three times the price.
THe only reason i'm thinking tmobile was sold is that Deutsche Telekom believes the world is gonna end next year so they will probably build a space ship with billions they are getting from AT&T.
I don't like AT&T, I don't like Sprint and i don't like Verizon. Tmobile is was the best so far. and I think all the customer will switch to Verizon once the acquisition is completed. As a tmobile customer I can never image myself dealing with the customer service of AT&T. I would rather pay little more and switch to Verizon, or worst comes to worst, go back to using only land lines or voip like magic jack.
NOOO, my friends that use AT&T always complain about how they are being charged extra for every single small things. They charge internet for smart phones whether internet is used or not. I have T-Mobile right now and I am very happy with it.
I have T-mobile and At&t but I prefer T-mobile in every aspect. At&thief is sucking us dry with these idiotgarbage 4's that we have with them, they charged $300 extra on our bill and we had to call those crooks. Two lines on at&thief for $200 and Three lines with T-mobile for a little over $100 bucks.
AnthUK, 21 Mar 2011So the joint venture with T-Mobile and Orange in the UK, and with this merger/takeover by AT&a... moreI absolutely hate the prospect that you may be onto something.
That you are is certain - uncertainty has a way of making interesting times come to pass.
We're on a month-to-month plan with T-Mobile USA and will hang with it for a while till we see how everything shakes out.
With more and more deals taking on the appearance of being to good to be true long term contracts and financial obligations of most any sort outside of our family, friends and community just seem like a bad idea for now.
I'm with t-mobile now and this is gonna suck.. At&t will definately charge more for their service
No problem for me i don't use at&t service anymore
I was on att&t untill their plan was too expensive so I switch to tmobile not knowing I will be back.
Well, I was JUST getting ready to switch to T-Mobile FROM AT&T. I was in Florida 2 weeks ago and couldn't even get EDGE speed with my E75 even though it displayed 3.5g. I also had the phone set to UMTS only. I prefer the GSM phone since I can buy my own, stick a sim card in, etc. The straw for me was that they are now getting picky about tethering and want yet more money.
I'm not much of one to want gov't to get in business affairs, but this will create a GSM monopoly. Sure, there may be Cellular South (I believe they are GSM), but that's really the only competitor of any size (and they are really too small to be a competitor - 900K customers).
I can't figure out why people were leaving T-Mobile in the first place. They CANNOT be worse than AT&T. I've lived in 3 areas since switching from Sprint to AT&T, and nowhere have I not gotten dropped calls, cruddy data, etc.
So the joint venture with T-Mobile and Orange in the UK, and with this merger/takeover by AT&T- does anyone else get the feeling that Deutsche Telekom know something the rest of the world doesn't?
AT&T is the worst carrier because of their greed. They're gonna suck your money until the last penny. I used to be with them and was very unhappy. Also they have the worst customer service. Now im with T-Mobile and can't be happier since they have great customer service and much cheaper plan with unlimited data while AT&T would charge you more with data caps. AT&T is one greedy evil..so beware!!
I'm with AT&T and I will tell you this is not good. The prices will go straight up and there's nothing you can do about it.
I was hopping gsmArena, would not write this article and stick only into talking about mobiles instead.
Oh well, mobiles need to run on networks carrier after all *sigh*.
$25 bil in cash , oh man , how much money they have .
now the battle is between AT&T, Verizon, and Sprint...
with every step forward, i hope that with ATT, we will not go backwards 2 steps :)
a little expensive plans with ATT, no room for plan options.
anyway, time will tell
