And what would you do if you can't plug it in anywhere for a day or 2. Let's say you are out hiking, but still use gps and the camera on the phone.
Anonymous, 11 Apr 2017I hardly ever go below 5h screen-on-time with OP3 and its 3000mAh battery ... More than enough... moreMy iPhone 7 also lasts more than 5h SoT, still people here hate on it for its battery life. This world is sad :(
Anonymous, 11 Apr 2017Phone manufacturers should male 15mm thick phones with optical zoom, large camera sensor, big ... moreThat would also be an interesting experiment. It surely would be a beast in battery and camera, although the design would really suffer so for most people a balance between those two would be best

And it recharges so fast that I don't care if it dies in the middle of the day, as long as I can plug it in somewhere.
I'd rather they make the phone thicker to increase battery life . Rather than them do a oneplus 5 then a 5T a few months later

OP has MUCH better (official) software support, unofficial is even better (Nexus level). On a more subjective note, ZTE has weird capacitive button placement ...
I'd say ZTE has better specs, but OP provides better user experience and is a better long term investment (for those that keep their phones for 2 years or more). This thingy should be able to run well for 3-4 years easily. :)
I hope that battery is fake rumor! Give us phones that lasts a couple of days, instead of phones that needs a power plug every 3rd hour.
There are several things in this which I wouldn't like if OnePlus did these
1. no edge-display, the OnePlus 5 should have a serious design like 3T
2. stop the pixel war and just go with a good 12MP one which rather supports 4K@60fps and has bigger pixel size so that the image quality gets better
3. If you go with 256GB of Storage, don't make the price too high, stay below $ 500, if it doesn't work out, also offer a 128GB or 64GB option which stays below $ 500
The OnePlus 3/T are already great value for money flagship killer phones, but with them i include the ZTE Axon 7. Okay in ways the OnePlus is much better than the Axon 7, because it is much more polished, finalized, etc. But on the other hand, for the same price or even less, the ZTE Axon 7 has a QHD display, and even more crucial, the fantastic dual front facing Stereo Speakers & the important SD card slot. So although the OnePlus is much better polished, etc. But overall, the ZTE Axon 7 is slightly more bang for one's buck. So this time/year it will be very interesting to see which it will be the most value for money flagship killer.
Don't mess with the battery, OIS and things that we appreciate on the oneplus 3(T).
I trust oneplus will not make the mistake of the oneplus 2.
Looking forward to wonders they will make with such high resolution. Will they use some rgb sensor to boost colors or better aperture? I also hope its that 25Mp sensor, its in XA1 after all.
Phone manufacturers should male 15mm thick phones with optical zoom, large camera sensor, big removable battery. And they should forget about the edge screen nonsense.
Arengium, 11 Apr 2017As a future buyer of the next oneplus i just hope that they keep the capacitive buttons, don't... moreYeah,I agree. I'm not a fan of curve edges too. I find it ugly, thats the reason why I don't buy samgsung edge phone, I'd rather choose the A9 but the ppi count is below 400 I can see all the pixels even at 2 feet distance because of the diamond pentile of AMOLED.
