Sameepa, 28 Mar 2011The Font should be the least of Nokia's worries right now....Agree!Nokia should be worried about samsung, sony ericsson or htc.instead they waste time and money on inventing new fonts!Keep up the good work and soon the order won`t be anymore 1.Nokia,2.Samsung ... and so on

Hehe, some copr. division (Marketing, maybe) tried to justify their salaries.
What about the defective screens problem, huh? No, it ain't such thing. All our devices are OK. Our only trouble is the font, so we're acting accordingly.
ROFL.

I assume This is a first time in improving the Nokia UX. I always thought nokia font is not as cool as the fonts used by android OS. good move.

I just find it highly amusing how in general every time something proves to be deeply broken (and therefore Change Is In Order - usually effected on the management first), changes in _image_ are always pursued, never changes in substance... Rebranding, renaming, changing the logo, the typeface, the company "tagline", whatever.

The other amusing thing is how MBA suits still seem be taught (and believe) that this is the most important step to be taken and ought to work every time when in fact it never really does.

I guess it's a rather sad case of "all I have is a hammer therefore I'm going to pretend every problem I have can be solved by using nails"...

Great job Nokia. The worst designed phones decide the best move would be to change the font!! Come on guys, people are tired of the same old boring nokia designs. Have a look at htc phones, supremely engineered with great designs.

boosook, 28 Mar 2011This might sound silly, but the font is very important. In my opinion, the classic nokia font ... moreThey will use this font on the new PR 3.0 firmware upgrade which will change the whole UI. Sadly this will come late in summer......

This might sound silly, but the font is very important. In my opinion, the classic nokia font had a very "old" look that contributed to the outdated look of the whole nokia UI. They should have done this step years ago.
