Cassy O, 18 Apr 2017"Allegedly" Just watch Erica Griffin's video about reddish or greenish Galaxy S8's display,... moreViewing the photo from an IPS LCD screen, I can definitely see a huge red tint on the screen
Switch off the display. Is the color deep black? No funny shades of black? Then the display is okay and it's just a case of poor calibration.
I'll never buy a Samsung phone again,, their quality control completely sucks.
Tann Hauser, 18 Apr 2017Oh my. Even I wasnt aware that amoled problems were that bad... need to check that out on xd... moredo check it out. fear runs through me whenever i get an amoled panel phone. but whenever i get ips panel it looks bland only few phones like lenovo vibe x3 had an awesome ips panel. the world is also moving amoled but the pain is also there. nothing is perfect i have also suffered dead pixels, absolutely bad blacks(or greys) and backlight bleeding with ips panels and once you see this you just can't unsee. my ocd for perfect screen.
NokiaBeast, 18 Apr 2017"And the S8 and S8+ have the best screens ever in 2017!" -DisplayMateBSNot the reddish ones
People should know better than to preorder a Samsung. Preorder users are also known as beta users in Samsung land.
LoL. Most people who are comments here are Sony fanboys, did they know if their beloved flagship's screen has blueish tint?

Just watch Erica Griffin's video about reddish or greenish Galaxy S8's display, she got the display looks similiar (normal white).
They focused on the battery too much that they forgot the display
This isn't anything new, it's common with AMOLEDs. My droid turbo had it too. I think a few percentage of AMOLED screens Usually end up like this but in S8's case it seems like a larger percentage is affected.
Not good news sami after the Note 7 fiasco ..
You need to get on top of your quality game.
My cheap Sony M4 Aqua didn't give me any problem in 2 years, damn!
zodiacfml, 18 Apr 2017Those users must have been used to the bluish tint of most devices such as cheap phones and la... moreLet me guess, those people who experienced this issue are mostly, if not all, coming from using an S7/S7 Edge on Basic Mode w/ default screen color balance adjustment
