Well, it was obvious from the beginning, that it was going to be quite tough.
in 2017 you guys talk about repairs ? on a mobile? its like repairing shoes.. who do that ?? damnn its not a car its a phone.. ofcrose its hard to repair. its a water proof phone.. and every compact.. what you expect to repair this phone as a 10 years old phone ? soo much hate on thos comments.. daaamnnnn soo they talk about a scale.. and s8 have 4.. can you guys tell me a flagship in the last 2 years that have 10 on the scale ? i`m pretty sure there are not many .. if not "none",,
All just so the phone will look pretty. Not gonna support this kind of practice ever.
This is another example that proves, how much evil a company can get. The fact that they don't want to increase the battery capacity every time and now with the poor repairability. They release new models every year just to make sure that their users ditch the old models like 2 or 3 years later. A quickly depleting battery is one of those reasons, where one would want to change their phone. Now with these non removable batteries, things got much easier and these companies are playing god. A strategy they loaned from the apple. With all the companies going for Bezel less design is fine, but a curved screen. Just "No". It is really hard to take care of such a screen even with a bumper case. I use a Nokia Lumia 1520 with 3400Mah battery that I bought about 3.5 years ago and the phone is doing fine and still going strong. Just hate the fact that it is Windows OS, Another evil company who would just like to spy their users rather giving any enriched user experience or features through their stupid updates. It was only one company that listened to their consumers. It was Nokia. I missed them after the microsoft acquired their Lumia models and carl zeiss technology...Now Nokia is back for good.. I will wait for their flagship device which will be Nokia 9.
That's why Nokia will beat them LOL.
High price poor quality and Nokia 6 is one of the toughest phone 2017. Go for it.
I dropped my S7E- it cost me over £220 to fix it. Good by Samsung!!! The edges technology is the most slippery thing in your hands!!! Never ever
I hope people enjoy those great looks! My S7 edge got hit in my pocket. Screen damaged. No one will fix it including the insurance. Insurance will cost me 11$ per month plus 225 deductable and get mostly a refurbished phone. So i told them I would kill it and wait for Note8. AW
Anonymous, 18 Apr 2017nobody in their right mind would tear apart a phone with IP class protection and built in batt... moreDepends on the service center, i hope you know. Some service centers fix the issues on your device by inducing other "minor" aesthetic or lasting terms, but thats something that will vary from country to country.
I would assume that based on brand central appreciation and reputation, service centers in South Korea are more quick and effective when it comes to repairing\replacing your phone, versus other worldwide centers. USA repair centers should be pretty good too, German and French ones aswell.
Finnish, Swiss and Italian ones should also be great, but some smaller countries like Portugal, Slovakia, Netherlands and Belgium might not get a big enough "interest" from Samsung to have more immediate and official service centers, which are always better than "authorized service centers".
At least in my home country, the actions they take make me lean towards this being the most obvious conclusion, aside from pure careless and low paying jobs perhaps on certain repair centers.
this called disposable phone, where you waste your money for the red tilt display
So what? Is it like some disposable camera? And you can used it as long as the phone sleeps in our pockets for safety reasons?
Anonymous, 18 Apr 2017nobody in their right mind would tear apart a phone with IP class protection and built in batt... moreYou are absolutely right. With non-removable batteries, glass panels glued with adhesives (& no screws) and Ingress protection, repairability scores are bound to go down. The average consumer should be more concerned with durability scores.
The phone has not long been launched and then this, better look after ya phone Cus repairs will cost a Lotta,
