I'm talking about technology in general and how humans react to it and want to be a part of it. These are just simple concepts that are out there being tested and maybe implemented one day. Zucks isn't doing this stuff, he's funding a lot of the research that is already in progressing because he believes in it and an implementation consumers may enjoy. Putting more and more funding into this stuff will create some great innovations that will be must haves eventually.

We will become cyborgs. Humans will naturally want to enhance themselves and be connected constantly. The smartphone is just the beginning that proves we want to constantly be connected with humanity. It's not going to happen in our lifetimes but at some point there will be some pretty crazy stuff out there. Science has already done some out of this world stuff. Whether it be splicing and editing dna, storing information on dna or even connecting artificial mechanical limbs that can be powered by our brains. It just proves that we can eventually become connected in an even easier way.

There are actually a few interesting black mirror episodes you can find on netflix. One being where people put implants in their heads that let them be connected and interfere with visual cortex to place mixed reality in our vision. Already not that far off in the world of science. Tech will also likely have shades/glasses that allow you to be connected using experiences like the hololens. That is likely the next wave that may replace the smartphone if done right. Of course it's also debatable because you are forced to wear something. Hard to tell. It's that being forced to wear something that makes us an easy target for implants. However, tech has to get to a point where you can unpackage a product and put it in your ear and it will release nano tech to bind to the visual cortex. Again this is not something happening in our lifetime. I'm sure it will eventually steer in that direction.

The concept of GPS was shown in a movie, and many useful concepts, but that doesn't mean that concept shown in Hollywood movies are evolution of humanity. Most are useless.... Aliens. ... Aliens conquering the world, hero saving it, terminator, trandlsformer, avengers.. .. For me its no more than SPD emergency my 6yo brother watch. Veery rare that those concepts really make a difference and even if so,it is mostly force-fed to the world just like Roman Reigns to wwe fans. it have its own side effects on humanity.

Sajjadfaisal, 20 Apr 2017Here comes the victim of Hollywood. Hollywood is the creation of our imagination. It's our imaginations that fuel the concepts that we build and create. A lot of stuff we have today was once fiction in books or movies.

That's the natural evolution of humanity, to become cyborgs(we already have prototypes of controlling artificial limbs with our brains) and then a full out AI. Everything we are putting into computers is recording us as humans and we will become computers.

There's a lot of well respected researchers that already question whether we are an AI. And we are building AI's after ourselves. Everything in our brain turns to an electrical signal. You can in theory clone yourself completely into a computer. Humanity will live on for billions of years as machines that will spread throughout the universe. Each planet may allow us to create more improved versions of ourselves and find new technology.
