Now I understand why Sony waits until June to release the flagship.
More time to test.

Nexus was just any phone with stock android.
Whole Note 7 thing made all eyes turn to Samsung.
I don't remember Pixel having so much attention when they first have there issue with their camera, Bluetooth and other.
But now people are reacting like everything would be perfect.
I know fanboy of any company. but just saying. ;D
mojojojo, 22 Apr 2017relax, its a software issue that easily fixed.Let's hope that's true. A colorimeter will easily be able to validate the fix.
Personally I'm skeptical of a calibration made without physical access to the screen. It's fine to return "close-enough" color to budget screens -- not really what people should expect of something this price.

Anonymous, 22 Apr 2017Not to worry about this troller, we are going to rip that XZP to pieces when the review comes.... moreOh, Im used to that already.
In the meanwhile practice your logical skills, cause my comment was entirely logical see.

Anonymous, 22 Apr 2017Except all companies have little things like this. They are just more in the spot light for it... moreThey can have little issues on low end devices but this is the fckng flagship of the company. Samsungs qaulity control will become a joke if they continue like this
Tann Hauser, 22 Apr 2017Or better yet, buy anything else than Samsung device. Problems solved. Not to worry about this troller, we are going to rip that XZP to pieces when the review comes. So for now, troll on kid.

And dont forget your shelling out $900 bucks just to get your temporary fix even though its a hardware issue.

Peole are reporting redtinted screens with either corners, centers, or edges being more affected.
Unevened red tint is not a software calibration problem that can be fixed with update, but a hardware one, fault in assembly.
Anonymous, 22 Apr 2017Except all companies have little things like this. They are just more in the spot light for it... moreNo, not "all companies".
and in no way it's acceptable for a "premium" product that you are supposed to shell out insane 900 EUR.
Reminds me of the OnePlus 3. When it came out, it had widely-publicized display calibration problems. OnePlus fixed it with a software update & that phone went on to be a critical and commercial hit.
