In my opinion this is unacceptable according to the last fiasco Samsung should be more careful with that and I don't forget the supposed 'delay statement announcement' what a waste!
Yesterday they said it was our fault for being too stupid to change the color settings.
Sam produces various models, I think the company is not focused anymore, it's getting voracious about your pockets, can't get enough
Anonymous, 21 Apr 2017Glad they are acting on it so quickly. They are so quick on their goofy soft and hardwares
Anonymous, 21 Apr 2017IPS is a kind of tech added to LCD screens. No it is not. It is a panel type.
Why do i feel its intentional.. some kind of psychological effect of being superior or so..
[deleted post]I'm a fan boy but I'm certainly not supping sammy.untill they admit the screens are a hardware fault and recall all handsets and make new phones with the fixed screens
who cares if its software or hardware. as long as there fixing it and not blaming the consumers that there not using the phone correctly like apple does. geez. stop with the yapping. no one is dying coz of the red tint. it will not give you sore eyes or any viral infection. you people taking this a whole lot complicated.
M.G, 21 Apr 2017Don't worry.. Samsung will never accept their fault. I'm sure they will, they actually always do, they apologize nicely and act right about mistakes.
The funnier part is that I'm sure these phones were meant to be perfect and had hardcore quality assurance. Can't believe something like this slipped through. Samsung never had problems with their Amoleds before, to the point where all units were perfectly factory calibrated. It is not a software issue, changing the intensity of red will make for a horribly unbalanced panel, way off on color reproduction. There will be a lot of returns, again. I wonder what went wrong and how did this slip through after all the quality drama.
Anonymous, 21 Apr 2017prefer ips.Ips is still lcd, but a special kind of lcd.
Well done samsung!!! I hope that the s8 unboxing includes a helmet to prevent from any kind of human damage. The glory of note 7 keeps on going. The new king is here.

eeee123, 21 Apr 2017A very serious problem that can affect the customer's trust. customer's trust is already affected from older problems
Anonymous, 21 Apr 2017Looks like it's gonna be another Mass Recall..... I'm so glad I totally stopped buying Samsung... moreYou bought 2? That's just sad. I thought S3 had a great design and even considered buying it back in the day but that's when i discovered samsung's bloatware. My last samsung phone was C5212. Never had an android samsung phone never will. Overpriced bloatware infested crap.
Anonymous, 21 Apr 2017Looks like it's gonna be another Mass Recall..... I'm so glad I totally stopped buying Samsung... moreRecall is only for state of urgency where faulty product that put safety of users in risks. Just red tint on screen doesnt call for a recall. Lets see the software update first and if it is fixed then this bs stop. If not, the worst could happened is product exchanged at samsung store. Just like that stupid stuck spen issue. They never recall that one.
