To sum up,all their products failed due to be being overpriced af more than their competitors. They are still overpriced but their Brand is allowing them to be.
There has to be more overpriced products that flopped from apple then these.
Nice article with interesting things of which I really never have heard about.
AnonD-483897, 23 Apr 2017Yup. Nowadays Apple is only known for iPhone. And IPods too.
Scot, 23 Apr 2017What about the Apple Watch? Oh, wait a minute.......too soon?you mean the sony smartwatch in 2012?
AnonD-483897, 23 Apr 2017You're damn right and also LISA was a flop too because of that 10K price tag. Thanks, dude.
Apple already knew how to overprice their products since the Lisa.
People should check out that G4 Icon episode of the Apple ][. Good stuff to watch Apple's early history when they were called Apple Computer. Now most younger folks only know them by iProducts and iOS.
I actually like Mac OS X. It is far less restrictive than iOS. I think Apple should refocus back into their roots at making durable computers. Their MacBook Pro in 2008 had both an SD card slot and REMOVABLE battery under a unibody aluminum design. With a Mac, you don't need iTunes to move around files. Their is a folder system.
A shame so many kiddies are focused on buying their shiny new iToys. They should just change their name from Apple Inc to iPhone Co. That's the only product they want to milk until the end of time.

Most of the kiddies reading this article don't even know Apple actually made or makes other products other than an iPod or iPhone. Everything to them is iMessages, iTunes, iPhone, iPhone, iPhone, so pretty, so pretty in a different color, get a case.
How come the first Macintosh wasn't included? It flopped in sales too. An expensive, pretty toy like that first iPhone without third-party apps. Steve Jobs just wanted to honor it because he was so involved with it. Yet, it was the Apple ][ engineered by Steve Wozniak that kept Apple afloat for those first 10-15 years.
AnonD-483897, 23 Apr 2017Man, Apple has come a long way!Yes indeed.
Anonymous, 23 Apr 2017Ah! Pre-Jobs Apple ... so close (in its DNA) to post-Jobs Apple! A zillion failed ventures... moreMaybe they need to replace Tim Cook and put Lisa Brennan-Jobs in charge of Apple. :P
[deleted post]Yeah, well don't expect them to run an article on Samsung's legal woes. There's not enough space for that.
