It would be useful a question on how extensive is the phone usage, meaning how much time do you browse per day, how many call minutes, sms, GPS navigation. This could be related to battery life, as phone manufacturers are falling behind on this. A smartphone today, used intensively, only lasts about half a day, which seems to me not enough.
I seem to notice something missing.. Oh Yes, Making Voice calls:)

I swear the cell phones have overtaken over many other gadgets and are really into our lives.
1. Good battery backup (atleast 200 hrs standby & more than 5 hrs talktime)
2. Display & body should be scratch resistant (by default)
3. Screen view under sunlight should be good enough.
4. all phones should have micro usb port by default for data transfer as well as charging as we are still not getting it in INDIA from Nokia & Samsung.
