How about some ram speed figures,far more important than another over powered power sucking cpu/gpu..
Android needs massive cpu/ram to run properly but why do Apple need it,I thought their optimisation was so brilliant that they don't need so much grunt..

Please stop this STUPID ULTRA-TALL display trend, we want near-bezelless phones like Mi Mix(maybe with a small bezel up for camera and speaker), we don't want an hard to use and reach display which sucks at media content like videos and photos!

Yes lets interpolate the HTML/Imaging-related stuff coz that is where iOS is good at and multiply it by factor of 5 and decrease the score of the areas where Android are good at by factor of 2.
Where did they get the aspect ration from? The sizing of the screenshot, or something else?

I only care if an Android... moreif there is a difference, it only means either the benchmark software isn't optimized or the system API has serious issues which won't let apps use the full potential of the hardware, either way you look at it, it's just bad.
mate 9 is faster than s+ scoring 6503 in multi core...single bit slower scoring 1876

I only care if an Android phone scores like that. You should only care if you are comparing Android vs Android or Windows vs Windows. Even Windows 7 has big difference when compared with Windows 10.
Still rather have an android device which is way more customizable than ios.
maybe symbian os should put a V12 chipset bi turbo that can be charge from 0-100 in .5 seconds while having an endurance rating of 10years

Wonder if they would raise the NVMe speeds this year, maybe more ram bandwidth too, would be nice because of the higher res display. Damn, now I interested to know how the GPU performs.a
Wow well done Apple. I hope for ifans Apple make a use of 2k screen, technology as IR and DeX like dock and please don't let them with 720p display and the same boring UI to achieve these numbers.
If true then this is very impressive and you have to give credit where credit is due however im guessing its not, I believe we are at a point where those massive jumps in performance just aren't gonna happen anymore with essentially the same tech.
There are many reasons to take this with a pinch of salt.
1) it's very very early. Even if you say that there is difference between mass production and prototype, this is seriously a very early prototype, so if this is multicore score of a 6 month early prototype, real product will score 11000+.and that is simply not worth believing. Actually score shown in screenshot is so high everyone thought that this will be the real score, forgetting that score increases rapidly from pre production prototype to real product.
2) this type of images can easily be faked. Simply
3) the resolution of the screen, the aspect ratio is 2.25, which is even taller than the whole footprint aspect ratio of iPhone 7(those tall top and bottom bezels included). HELL, the REALLY tall galaxy S8 has an overall footprint ratio of 2.18. (again the top and bottom bezels are significantly bigger than side bezels, so they increase the overall aspect ratio) . After that, you will at least have to make a top bezel for front camera and speakerphone. It is almost given that the curved OLED screen won't have any side bezels, and assuming that there will be no bottom bezel either, still, the iPhone 8 will be 2.4 times long long compared to width.
To make it easy to understand it for you, IT'S LIKE A PHONE WHICH IS AS WIDE AS SMALL IPHONE 7 BUT 3 mm TALLER THAN BIGGER IPHONE 7+.

Hahaha it's hilarious to see fanboyism. I use iPhone then I use Android. Definitely going to buy iPhone 8 but I'm waiting for stainless steel variant. Then who knows I'm going to buy Android again. No fan here. Just tech fan overall.
