PLoy, 04 Apr 2011I think a Blackberry without the QWERTY keyboard is not a Blackberry! It is its trademark. Key... morecos they are expanding maybe..wow never known a manufactuer to do that
This is a chinise fone!!!
need the possibility to lock only messages, phonebook, images.... seperately and not be obliged to lock the whole phone : see samsung and motorola. RIM says security : this is security and inteligence
I am an ex Torch 9800 user. I shifted to a Bold 9780 as I feel RIM haven't yet got their act together as far as touch screen operating systems are concerned. Hopefully this will be an improvement, but they've got a long way to go when compared to iPhone 4.
I think a Blackberry without the QWERTY keyboard is not a Blackberry! It is its trademark. Keyboard can still go with touch screen like the Torch. It you want touch screen...WHY BUY BLACKBERRY??? Go for Android or iPhone!!!
this phone is amazing
BB needs to step it up and come out with something decent or just throw in the towel..
Blackberry is over, it is taking the road of Palm. BB cannot compete with today's technology. BB is always coming out of the gate late with old, defective technology, example Storm 1 and 2. I think Android and Apple will rule the Smartphone world, one of these companies will come out with a business Smartphone to replace the Blackberry for business use. BB you made hay while the sun shined, but the Storm rained on your parade. RIM - RIP
Don't agree about idea, that BB needs a serious redesign - it need's to stay as it was ealier in the design ;]
why would you want a stylus thats old technology???
Thank bezejus. Luckily im upgrading my contrack later this year. Cant wait
MyName, 03 Apr 2011Just keep in mind that RIM is tailoring its OS to be able to run Android apps on it. So I don'... morehaha.... still a looser without 2nd camera, no hdmi, no usb otg,no bluetooth 3.0 +hs.
design looks like a Samsung Android phone.
Just keep in mind that RIM is tailoring its OS to be able to run Android apps on it. So I don't think that it looks like a looser smartphone.
That phone is a brick...
Zeeshan, 02 Apr 2011design look odd. butt overall smart phone.Yeah, I don't like the buttons, they are classic. Hope to see something better from RIM, a Linux-based OS or better games compatibility like iOS
black berry storm 9550 really failed to impress me , which is why i never went out to get a bb again not even the 9800 . i wish this will not be the exact type of failed phone .
guynamedluke, 02 Apr 2011and i just bought the 9800!!! -.-"Blackberrys are brilliant. I just wish they'd make them of more 'premium' materials, as the new Bold touch is supposed to be.
No 2nd camera? Can this be called a smartphone? No way!
No video conference easily.... You call this 21st century?
it is a nice phone and when will it be out..?
