These specs look genuinely good. Too bad the HTC U 11 won't have a 3.5mm headphone jack......

Look at this, Galaxy S7 Edge has 3,600mAh battery with 2K sAMOLED screen and very efficient Exynos 8890. It scored an Endurance Rating of 98h
Compare that to the Lenovo P2 with 5,100mAh battery with 1080p sAMOLED screen (from Samsung) and nearly as efficient SD625. It scored an Endurance Rating of 149h - 51h more than the S7 Edge
Only difference is the slightly higher screen resolution, while the rest are comparable, yet makes that large difference

Plus the screens are larger and better than HTC U 11 which has the same screen size, resolution and aspect ratio as the S7 edge.. Is the HTC screen even AMOLED?

On Qualcomm's Website, I can find the Quick Charge™ 4.0, but can't seem to find that product on their site

1-Boom sound speakers
2-U-sonic headphones.
3-16 MP selfie panorama camera.
4-SD835.
5-Edge sense(without ghost touch by the S7edge)
6- Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
So after this brief I can tell it is better than this yea Samsung flagships.

L0lip0p, 02 May 2017Buhaha! What you smoking? Seem like It make you highDid you even read the specs of HTC U 11? 5.5-inch QHD, 12MP f/1.7 camera w/ OIS, 3,000 mAh battery, 4GB RAM, IP57. These are exactly the specs of Samsung's last year flagship S7/S7 edge. Even the S7 edge has a larger battery and IP68. The S7 is so ahead of its time. Other manufacturers are just catching up to Samsung's last year flagship.
Samsung fanboiz everywhere. I will tell you something that is a fail. Touchwiz A.K.A Grace UX, Edge screen. :)

I just hope it has an AMOLED screen.
Which is the real successor to the HTC 10? I thought that the HTC U Ultra was their Flagship Successor? so this is the real flaghip next the HTC U11?

First of all, battery capacity is not all that matters for a good battery life. There are a lot of phones with a similar battery and it lasts a whole day fine.
Second of all, it has the SD835 which really improves battery life,
Combine the above points and do the math.

Sorry HTC. I have been using your phones since 2008 (Diamond or whatever the model was) and will switch to other brand if you dont make a normal size model what can be operated with one hand. There is a reason why Iphone is 4,7" and your first One model was popular. There was a time when small phones were top (before smartphones) - why not to try same route once more. If i want a big screen i f-ng take out my tablet...
Force Majeure, 02 May 20173000 mAh battery on a flagship mobile... Epic fail! Funny how iPhone 7+ is only 2960+ mah but can still last long. It's not just about the battery capacity, it's also about the software that makes it work longer.
Even if you have 5000 mah battery but the software makes it work like a hungry dog it will be dead real quick.
This edge sense seems interesting.
But htc, seriously, no 3.5mm jack?!
HTC, that is renowned for their mobile soundsystem, goes along the no headphone jack nonsns....
That crap can only pass in apple world...
AnonD-39937, 02 May 2017Why it has the "old" QuickCharge 3.0 instead of 4.0? 835 supports it...cutting corners to make... moreI definitely agree with you. And in fact it is quite questionable what happened to the
QuickCharge 4.0 of the SD835? because it seems that noon of the flagships hed use it so far, not the S8 duo, not the XZ Premium, not the MI 6 and not even this U 11, so what happened to the QC 4 ??????
So, it seems quite promising. Apart for the again lack of the 3.5mm headphone jack and battery could be slightly bigger, but acceptable, after all it is like the one in the S8. Having said that, everything else sounds good, promising.
