Deducting 12 smartphones, I'm sure the remaining 28 devices are going to be dirt-cheap phones focused on the emerging markets... Lol. oh, and probably some symbian (still???) cr@p!!

If you get one of these make sure you make regular back ups as you never know when you might randomly lose all your data.
With people today carrying around so much of their lives on smartphone's it's crucial to keep back ups.
at least my nokia runs longer than 6 hours away from a charger, which is the most important feature for most phone users.
If you don't like Nokia, don't read the articles and make frivolous comments, simple - why troll?

Don't even try to blame it on chinese manufacturers because this problem happened on Finnish and south korean made n8's
Risos, 04 Apr 2011"For example, in Russia Nokia is now associated with low quality and defect products.&quo... moreMotorola quality has improved as of late this is evident in their increase sales and profitability of Motorola mobility as a company not part of Motorola. Lg was always known as and still is crap when compared to samsung and htc. However unlike nokia lg is working on improving their devices where as nokia is still making crap. You nokia kids can get angry and deny all you want doesn't change anything about the fact that nokia is losing.
Monty, 05 Apr 2011I'll settle for just one that doesn't restart, have battery or signal issues hence bye bye nokiaYeah, just like I have an iPhone 4 that doesn't connect wia WiFi and a Galaxy S that is not making calls.
You are only making thing up, you troll.
I'll settle for just one that doesn't restart, have battery or signal issues hence bye bye nokia
about freaking time Nokia. I'm due for an update later this year. so I hpe something good is coming. Maybe Meego? :)
Currently using Nokia N8 and loving it. Need something with a new UI. :)
Why all the hate on Nokia? I mean nokia is the gsm that 99 percent of us grow up with. I think what nokia phones need is android software or why not work with apple on their exclu. smartphones. Win.mobile does not fit.

At least you have some reasons for moving for other OS and is not simply like these mindless haters that only think that Symbian is a crap because Gizmodo said so.
Symbian has always been the most complete OS for many years. I have been a Nokia user for a while. but for the past 3 years I moved on to iOS and now Android. Yes Symbian can do most things iOS and Android are doing, but it is just more fluid and prettier on the new OS's. Eye candy and ease of use is key. If Nokia can just accept changes, and change the Symbian UI maybe they can regain some market share. No Comment on the Windows Mobile 7 deal since I haven't worked with one yet. But it doesn't look that appealing.
[deleted post]Calm down buddy. I'm neither 10 nor I'm angry at Nokia.
Anonymous, 04 Apr 2011People usually say "quality > quantity"...Agree, however, that doesn't mean that you can't have both.
Anyway, I found that article quite nonsense, it's is only an announcement for India market, nothing really insteresting or exciting for anyone.

"Within 4 months Nokia C7 lost almost a half of its price. ... more"For example, in Russia Nokia is now associated with low quality and defect products."
In South America, Motorola and LG are also associated with low quality and defect products.
Nokia can sell 400 new phone models, and it won't make a difference. They lost their edge, and they started to produce BAD quality phones. Just look at their TFT screens on low-budge phones = utter crap, totally unusable unless you look straight at it.
Nokia brings nothing new, and if they do announce something new, the competitors would have out-passed them twice, before they can even release it...cough N8.
