AnonD-146024, 03 May 2017Number of iPhones sold in the past three months was 50.8 million. Nothing comes close to that ... moreSamsung sold 79.2 million in the first quarter of 2017 so maybe you try coming down to reality.
Story about iphone.
Paragraph one..off on a tangent about something else.
Paragraph two...the mitigation/ excuse paragraph
Paragraph three bad news..not about an iphone
Paragraph four..all ends well. All neuralised and tidy.
Public left with the revealed news subliminaly obscured and a positive picture implanted in a story that IS..IPHONE SALES ARE SIMPLY DOWN EVEN AFTER THE NOTE 7 WAS RECALLED. Here you had an optic lesson from big 'a'S Pr forcefield of how to handle and present negative truth ,as, positive Pr through the paid media. Thank you.
I'm not hater. Both iPhones and android phones are fun to use. iPhone is very simple and easy to use. Android is very user friendly and extremely customisable.
Chinese brands will dominate the market in 3-4 years...unless Apple manages to do something really better that no one has. Let's see the next iPhone "10th anniversary" if brings something really new or just playing catching up...
stil to many , 10 mil per quarter its more than enough, for an overpriced crap
I don't personally hate Apple and their sheeple. I have a MacBook Air which is the best computer I ever owned. I just don't like iOS. Not a gamer, so Mac ftw. Happy that Macs are doing better. OS X is much more functional than iOS.
None of this is surprising. First quarter numbers are always down. Then Q4 should be record numbers again. Most other companies could only dream to sell 50M phones in a quarter. Apple sells over 200M nearly every year for the last half decade.
Stop the hating or gloom and doom talk. They have $250B cash reserves. I just wished Apple starts innovating again. They haven't got me excited since Steve Jobs died. Maybe the iPhone 4 was the last Apple announcement I cared about.
Apple does have solid products though. I have an iPad 2 that is on standby for 111 days. Battery is still at 22%! That's a five year old battery that still acts like it is new. I just don't use it much because I am an Android guy.
Lol so much hate for apple here. I haven't used iphone since iphone 4s but still cant ignore that they make pretty good phones. People are so stuck up on specs. Is iphone slow at opening apps compared to flagship androids? Does it battery not last as long as galaxy's? They suck at design with bigass bezels but crying on ram numbers or battery size is just petty. Performance matters more than specs.
The key in this report is the Year on year. And it doesn't show that apple will die, it shows that their growth has stalled. This in no way means they are doing bad but that the market has reached saturation and from here on they will have to bleed and sweat in order to get new iPhone buyers. And that's going to be a problem when not even the samsung debacle work in their favor. (not much gains)
Apple believes in its own myth that people will buy whatever they push out, but at the end of the day the economy assumes people make rational decisions...and if you can more or equal fro less you will go for that instead.
They said Note 7 users are jumping ship to IPhone 7. Guess many users didn't switch.
No one can predict the future.
You can be on the top today, and then suddenly at the bottom tomorrow.
The reverse also true.
No headphone jack no fm radio no ir remote no big battery no video calling over operator 4g no dual sim no micro sd support no thin bezels OFF COURSE THEY WILL FAIL
ProJames, 03 May 2017I can't understand how come people buys and renew their iPhones. Between the 6 and 7, nothing ... more"Between the 6 and 7, nothing has really changed."
I disagree, camera got lot better, my goddaughter has iPhone 6 and i have 6s, even my old camera is a lot better.
these days camera is one of the biggest reason to ugprade, thats why 7 plus have been so popular.
