Tech specs are now becoming less relevant, as most devices are very very powerful, with enough capability to do what we need.
The focus will start to be on "what can it do?" Thus Apple's apps like Garageband which turn the iPad into a music production machine, for example. Increasingly, with tech specs becoming more and more similar from manufacturers, it is the user experience that will take center stage.
Companies that ignore this, do so at their own disadvantage.

*shrug* iP5/4s will come when it comes. I reckon that Apple will continue the pattern it has established thus far - iPhone *jump* iPhone 3G *step* iPHone 3GS *jump* iPhone 4 *step* iPhone 5/4s.
i.e. the next iPhone will be an incremental upgrade to iP4 just to refresh the hardware a bit - the one after that will be really worth watching out for.

We have recently changed all notebooks and mobiles to Apple as we had enough with reliability problems. Overall the result has been fantastic compared to our previous Nokia and windows systems. Given we are very business focused and travel a lot, we keep the Blackberry as our main communication mobile and the Apple iphone as secondary. Nothing comes close the the BB as a messaging tool and it is also reliable. The interesting thing about the iphone is what everyone talks about. The user experience. That is what differentiates itself from Android as well. We looked at the Apple competition but we wanted a system. Now only if Apple could introduce an emailing system like BB and also a secure BBM then it would kill off the competition from a business perspective. For the record we bought 36 Notebooks and iphones and could not be happier. I am in Australia.

Hopefully the battery life will be up to the features... That's the only one issue on my iPhone4, for everything else it's a great device.

iv used all appl phone till date including the iphone 4 and i had the best experience with phone i guess sony to help with the 8mp camera is going to make a huge difference....just waiting for it to be launched...

with such devices its easier for people to come together but my only
concern is the prices that these things cos,if only there was a way of cuting costs then every one would have one like or similar and believe me even third world countries would benefit from this and this would bring information or knowledge to the finger tips of the most poverty stricken countries and communities because in such countries of 500 people only a third of the people can afford such things so please think of every one when creating such stuff

I really wish Apple would slow down with it's releases, release a great phone and then leave it for at least 1.5/2 years before releasing another. In fact, I wish the whole damn market would slow down and allow us consumers to get a phone and not feel robbed when it's out of date within a few months!
I don't get why manufacturers create a phone, sell it for loads of money, then instead of improving the software and features of that phone, decide to design a better phone with better features and hardware, and then release it to a giant moan from people with stretched wallets!

By Iphone 7 comes out, there will be 3D specs built in while all the other phones have surpass performance. Iphone even fails when you can't use it without installing Itunes on it. Fail and more fail after each release.
