..., 07 Apr 2011It's the other way around id sayNo. It was Samsung who went back to the drawing board after seeing how thin and powerful the iPad2. A month later, they showed us some non-working prototype that's 1mm thinner than the iPad2.
I say Samsung is employing the same tactic again and they are waiting to see the iPhone5 so they can copy it. That's the real cause of delaying the launch of the SGS2.
Nothing surprising there...m sure India will be their last dumping ground as usual..by d time it hits us it the production wud av stopped due "impending launch" of another model...same sad story wit the Galaxy-I...hardly had seen it in stores n by the time u wanna buy 1 they say production has stopped...lol...
History just repeats itself...here its Samsung...
Even if this thing runs on dual-core, might as well prepare for the lag fix
Anyone know where this is actually going in the US?
Tmobile? At&t? or is this going to be a get it on your own deal?
better buy T-Mobile G2x or LG Optimus 2X. much much cheaper.dual core 1ghz + hdmi port.
They will be rolling it out on a few select markets so when the iPhone 5 rolls out they can revise the SGS2 into something more like the iPhone5. They did it with the tab, called it inadequate, went back to the drawing board and presented us something more of a copy of the iPad. That's Samsung, the great copycat.
