No, XA1 will be the top mid ranger. Because 2300mAh is relatively better when using a 5 inch screen, but 2700mAh is just a tiny scoop of ice-cream for a giant 6" Hd screen. And you know what, bigger sensors require bigger battery. Lots of demerits all around this big head.

C5 Ultra has smaller top bezel because its front camera sensor is far smaller than that of the XA1 Ultra.

Please use your logic at times - it's pointless to explain it if you won't use your common sense. Peace out. :-3

2700 mAh is by no means mighty, especially for a smartphone with a 6 inch screen & especially when Chinese manufacture (Xiaomi, Huawei) and even established players(Samsung) offer phablets with a 4000+ mAh battery.

Back in 2014, Sony used to have smartphones with superb endurance ratings (think Z2, Z3, Z3 compact). Then they began the trend of packing in smaller batteries and nowadays we only get decent average battery life from Sony's smartphones. Come on Sony, you can put bigger batteries and create a monstrous smartphone with long-lasting Stamina!

They also sell phones like the R which isn't trying to be bezeless and then they have stuff like the Corner R which is trying to do.

Sharp phones trying to be bezeless have always been on the experimental side of things. koreans are trying to push it into the mainstream and trying to use it a selling point for their phones as if they are superior.

AnonD-404798, 15 May 2017where would you put that front sensor 1/2.6" with OIS ? it's really impossible for the top bez... moresmart person here understands lol.

People crying about bezels dont realize Sony doesn't just have them there for no reason. its there to support the big sensors and front firing speakers. should they work on to reduce bezels? absolutely. even 40-50 percent reduction is fine.

AnonD-237381, 15 May 2017It wouldn't be ugly, C5 Ultra have asymmetrical bezels, and it isn't ugly, the bottom bezel is... moreNot as large as of the XA1 Ultra.
C5 Ultra has the same 1/3.06" 13mp front sensor as the X mid range and flagship series (except the X Compact) while the XA1 Ultra has 1/2.6" 16mp front sensor, which is the same rear camera sensor as of the LG G4, V10, G5, and V20
