PLAYER SLAYER, 21 May 2017And what's 'meh' about the G6? It's the same price as the U11, but has a bigger battery, small... moreJust visually. I'm not a fan of the look of the phone. Without bezels, there is no character to the phone. And compared to the S8 it looks like a year old designed bezel-less phone. Then the back of the phone is just hideous.

IMO, SD821 with headphone jack is worse than a SD835 without, but I've probably only ever charged my phone and listened to music at the same time once in the past year. That feature isn't going to effect me.

It's the same price as the U11, but has a bigger battery, smaller bezels, and a better screen with HDR support. Did I mention how it also has a headphone jack? As I see it, the HTC is a bit lacking (seriously, just a 3000mAh battery in a 5.5 screened phone?) in comparison.

But dude omg I've been reading stuff about HTC U11 now and wow I think I want to have it too. All the other HTCs before sucked for me but this one's really really interesting.

Looks HTC going to have a solid device this year.
With 6 GB RAM, water resistant, touch sensitive frame , and good pricing at 659$ this phone is better deal than s8 duos which can go as high as 800$

The only downside is HTC marketing budget is nowhere near Samsung, and availability. It maybe distributed only in selected countries and I know Indonesia isn't one of them

And to those who complaint about 3 mm jack, PLEASE,,,
It will come with Adapter inside the box.
And if you want to compare HTC 11 with adpater, it will still sound 10 TIMES BETTER than any other flagship, S8 incuded. Because HTC has their own dedicated DAC, not using snapdragon one.
But that's only if you ever try HTC 10 on earphone and blown away by it, cinematic sound experience is HTC's.

Hope HTC can attract more clever buyers this time around, because this is outstanding piece of device!

I agree with with Shriram, this feature would be interesting unless it irritates the user while touching sides of the phone.

Friends, Mark my words..
I think this "squeeze" thing is going to completely change the way we use our smartphones, i was just imagining in how many apps "squeeze" can be used effortlessly and to what extent! Amazing.. all smartphone manufacturers would want to implement something awesome and productive like this. From patents alone HTC could boom its business. HTC took time but came back sound.
Keep up the good work.
(..and HTC if you were to take my advice, please keep ignoring the haters, your team is awesome - love from India)

I'm going to buy this phone simply because:

1- This phone has an unique and useful (at least as far as we can see from the video) feature that no other phone has.
2- HTC tried to bring something innovative to the market once again and they deserve credit for doing so.
3- We need HTC to get on their feet as a high end company, else Samsung and Apple will sell same phones over and over again without any innovation at all. It's like supporting AMD against Intel so we can have a competition that we end-users all can benefit from.
4- I've used older HTC phones and they are still fully functional (I've changed batteries only) and used by my elder family members right now. (7 and 4 years old phones in case you wonder)
5- HTC Sense ages very well compared to other Android skins (cough Touchwiz)
6- You use an unique phone brand, different from Apple and Samsung different from other people.
7- I still believe hardware buttons are way better than having on-screen buttons (this depends on what you prefer) and this is the only high-end phone with hardware buttons.
8- This is kinda personal too, but I think keeping 16:9 screen ratio is also a good move for media consumption and gaming. In addition to that, I didn't like how S8 is hold in hand due to awkwardly long and thin shape.

Yeah this phone does not have the best design in the market or HTC genetics from One series, but it still is a good looking phone with great features and probably still the best android skin on the market in terms of stability and fluidity. Maybe it may not open apps as fast as some other skins, but when you get used to HTC Sense fluidity, it's hard to use other Android skins.

Loving the new design and at last a company who are trying innovate. Edge sense, Usonic, Liquid surface and so much more than what Samsung have to offer. So glad I didn't take the S8 with its half screen.

I can't stand how the buttons are positioned at the very bottom of the lower bezel. It means you have to hold the phone lower to use them which introduces a lot of downsides for ergonomics... terrible design and I wish they would stop using it.

RIP. Cheesy look, too big (actually, too wide for one handed use), no 3.5 mm. Probably such device could have had some success 2-3 years ago, but definitely not today. HTC 10 remains the best smartphone HTC ever made.

Eipic fail. What a plastic look and what a huge shovel it is.
Ridicolous is to keep doing same mistakes and hope for better results. Been using HTC since Touch Pro model and it looks like 2017 is the swan song for the story...
