Amolak.c, 16 May 2017Why can't manufacturers understand that 3.5 mm Jack is very basic requirement, you are not gai... moreYou are absolutely right.

It's a pity because with the innovative Edge sense and such decent/good specs, the HTC U11 could have been a winner if not for the omission of the 3.5 mm headphone jack.

I don't understand, for a smartphone company that is known for it's audio prowess, clear sounding speakers & BoomSound, they could fit in 4 microphones, stereo speakers, 360 degree audio recording but couldn't incorporate the all-important 3.5 mm headphone jack! Now that is a poor move.....

No 'wowing' factor for the average consumer. HTC is like Moto, the name has gone out of people's minds. Unfortunately both have gone without a 3.5mm headphone slot. People would immediately forget about the squeezing thing, its apparent unique and selling feature. I hardly use the 3D Touch on my iPhone 7. I've used all HTC flagships since the M7, but this doesn't excite me one bit!

No headphone jack? No thank you. Go to hell HTC, I hope you burn.

Huge bezels, just look at them although the back looks gorgeous. I am all for glossy glass finish. No 3.5mm jack, such a basic feature. Phone manufacturers wants us to be limited and use their own accessories. 3000 mAh battery puts the final nail in the coffin.

Those bezels that some of guys are complaing about are actually put in good use by fitting in stereo speakers!! As I always say there are a tonne o smartphones out there nobody has put a gun on your head and force you to buy this. Only thing that Htc has let us down is glass design instead of metal but it still looks beautiful!!!

HTC should fire its designer. Those big bezels are embarrassing.

As predicted. Silly bezels and too smaller battery and just to finish it off the higher spec version will only be available in certain markets. Almost forgot. Despite its silly bezels and too smaller battery it has no 3.5 mm jack either. Bye bye HTC.

Why can't manufacturers understand that 3.5 mm Jack is very basic requirement, you are not gaining anything substantial by removing it.
