I actually like Bada OS, it meets all my needs. And the S8500 truly is an exceptional phone imo... Let's just hope we can get that firmware upgrade soon enough, it's long overdue now!

And again new phones. No wonder Samsung has such awful support. You just can't cover so many (and i mean really so many as they release new devices nearly every 2 hours). This is just not good.

S8500 was an awesome little phone. Its hardware and software solutions as well as quality of that phone really amazed me. I haven't seen something with as much attention to details in years.
However it was only released to promote Bada in the beginning. In the end Bada is a "smartphone platform for everyone". It's supposed to be affordable in the first place. I doubt that there'll be another S8500 in the future, only lower end handsets.

WTF!Samsung hasn't even totally released Bada 1.2 for Wave I, now they start promoting middle-range phones with future "Bada 2.0"?!
I have no trust for Samsung because of their shitty support service. Wave S8500 was the last phone I bought from Samsung...

You can put lipstick on a pig, and you still have a pig. Samsung only buld what they can sell then leave the customer hanging. So no matter how good it looks, you're still stuck with samsungs complete lack of support.

You are right, Samsung only seems commit in releasing new devices that from my point of view are not as great as the first wave, but what about upgrading past phones, I own a Samsung Wave S8500 and Im just waiting to jump from Bada 1.0 to 2.0 and its taking to long...
Is not looking good for samsung to leave their clients hanging and just worried in releasing new phones, SHAME on Samsung

Its just a replica of Android. Since Samsung mobiles moving faster they may move Bada along with that, but people who likes OS won't go for Bada packed mobiles.

Bada is already dead. (Only used in Samsung Wave.)
