There are numerous complaints about the iPhone 7 plus camera (both front and rear) going black...has the company admitted its fault ? I had to get my device replaced because of the fault...IPHONES ARE SIMPLY OVER-RATED

You made some great points, I like to add to your reply. Also there is the problem of finding proprietary accessories vs standard accessories.

AnonD-664474, 16 May 2017"Unbox your phone" means to get rid of bezels. Box represents the bezels of a phone. Hopefu... moreIt does. But whatever you think, we need a minimum of bezels for device integrity (the S8 duo are the most fragile smartphones at the moment, tied with the usual iPhone) and for convenience. It may be pretty but far from useful.

sr777, 16 May 2017Interesting you bought up WW3. What phone do you think, S8 or iPhone, would be more useful... moreIt's obvious. Phones with removable battery AND removable back cover are the best. Batteries deteriorate and degrade over time (about 2 years of usage). In a post apocalypse situation, the maunfacturers that produce new phone batteries, the services that replace the battery in non-removable battery phones won't exist. Also, the trade and internet that makes it possible to order/buy new phone battery won't exist.

But if your phone has removable battery and removable back cover, you can mod it to work with 18650 batteries.

            http://www.okyay4.com/nevsblog/2014/diy-extended-cell-phone-battery-for-samsung-note/

18650 batteries are standard, more widely available, so there is a good chance that you will find them in the local shops.

Hmm........strage........i think apple is out dated......because i already got that feature on my old xperia z3.......apple is really loooooooooosssssiiiiiiinnngggg it's charm.......and TBH the iP6s feels more like a flagship device rather than the iP7 which managed to get the original color of apple (red).

AnonD-669130, 16 May 2017actually not, selective focus gives very poor results, Portrait Mode looks much more realistic... moreIt will likely become a feature on other phones in the future. If a manufacturer sees a feature as useful to its users, it may add it. It would make sense for the Note8 to include a similar feature if it has dual cameras.

This is a perfect example of who was first does not matter.

A phone can have a lot of features and functionality, and the company spend hours introducing each feature technically, but its just MEH.

They need advertisements like this to bring out its usefulness, thou its funny and non serious.

                      Samsung use software also.

LG, Huawei dual camera first was forgotten, because they brag about better color image etc etc.. and did not advertise bokeh strongly.

Apple was the first one to break through. Software + Hardware (dual camera). So they snag the credit!

But now? Who cares right? Apple will forever be known for magical portrait mode. the rest are copy cats lol..

Anonymous, 16 May 2017Isn't this just selective focus that Samsung did ages About?Yeah I think the Galaxy S5 had it onwards but im guessing this has improved on it.

Since Galaxy devices have been doing it for years and Huawei, Honor devices all can do these bokeh effects it isnt really magic gotta give it to Apple they know how to advertise.

This is retina display all over again :D

It wasn't Samsung, it wasn't Apple.
And this advertise is so stupid: a boy in barber shop, without clients had an iPhone.... Making pictures, that ANY high end phone can make right now.
Apple must be s desperate to relay on such advertisement.
