I don't think their ratings mean anything, considering how highly DxO rates Sony cameras.

Anonymous, 16 May 2017Because it does the same of i7. Just the telephoto is not enough to change its score. If they tested both the iPhone 6s and the iPhone 6s Plus, DxOMark should also test both the iPhone 7 AND the iPhone 7 Plus.

Plus, DxOMark mentioned that the iPhone 7 Plus camera score will become available "soon". 8 months had already passed. That's not "soon"

Only if they would have reduced those bezels and designed a .ore compact phone. Everything matters at flagship high price. Killer hardware, no complaints there.

PLAYER SLAYER, 16 May 2017I never trust DxO Mark... They rated the LG V20's camera above its predecessor, the G5. Not to... moreEvery company trust DxOmark rating
Google trust it too
"Pixel takes brilliant photos in bright light, low light, and any light. That’s why tech experts gave it a best-ever DxOMark Mobile score of 89. *"

Oh my goodness, all those buzzwords...

I don't intend to start a war, but regarding the camera, Sony is finally starting to show up after sleeping from the competition.

It's time for Sony to show off what they can really do at cameras with the upcoming IFA 2017 Sony Xperia flagship. Each year, they are truly improving bit by bit, and once they reached the top, everything else will finally be blown away.

I'm not here to be a fanboy, but since we're just talking about cameras, I just wanted to share my thoughts. You can mind this comment and read the next one. Peace :)

AnonD-542706, 16 May 2017Haha Samsung fanboy s8 only 88 points.LMAO. Samdung practically uses the same sensor as last year ( I think they use the same sensor but only changed the name of the sensor so that it can again fool their idiotic fanboys, afterall they have a history of cheating) so score practically the same score as last year. Samdung phones now is worst than htc. Suck it up sammy fanboys. Your beloved company's phone is no longer the best.

Well I hope things work out for HTC because they are not doing great financially. It's always good to have competition in the market and the same applies for every company.

If i'm correct, they also gave HTC 10 the highest score at that time. Everyone knows how that turned out so yeah i don't believe in their shitty scores.
