A 300Mbps 802.11n router in 2017? Come on Xiaomi. You can do better. I've had 600Mbps routers from 2010.
How about your own, Xiaomi Mi WiFi Router 3 1167Mbps 2.4GHz 5GHz Dual Band 128MB ROM With 4 Antennas?
3x faster with USB Storage support... Would have been impressive!

I own the Xiaomi R1D, R1CM and R1CL routers, the first router with an 1TB HDD drive, the Mini and the Lite, respectively. I have been waiting for the WUI (Web User Interface) to include English as an option for about 2 to 3 years, as promised by Hugo Barra on Youtube. For now, we only have the Android (and iOS) app, and some routers support English. This India release may represent a change in language support on Xiaomi networking devices, which is far from good, and not consistent. Mi Home app is an example, among others.
i don't see any advantage whatsoever over currently available routers..infact d link and tp link can provide 600mbps dual band at similar prices
It appears that MI is dumping all the non-salable products in India. Having known that most of the Internet connections in India are ADSL, it's surprising that there is no ADSL port and also wireless has single frequency only. Shame MI.
Tucking Fypo, 17 May 2017i was talking in a general sense coz xiaomi also manufactures powerbanks, speakers and stuff. ... moreNot sure what is UPSC. But that doesn't matter. If Amazon is the dictionary you follow, you can call Router as accessories.
Roy, 16 May 2017I don't think Router can be categorized as "accessories".i was talking in a general sense coz xiaomi also manufactures powerbanks, speakers and stuff. PERIPHERAL might be word. anyhow amazon lists routers under computer accessories so i think i am still eligible for UPSC.
Four-antenna router price around $18?!! Wow! It better be good quality and not some cheap built quality that only last a few months.
Is there no 5.0 GHz support?
Tucking Fypo, 16 May 2017good job. i love their accessories more than their phones.I don't think Router can be categorized as "accessories".
Wait a minute.. No gigabit port? :(
Nice timing! I was about to change my router anyway..
