It does look like a cross breed between HTC and Apple. Samsung does seem to know who to copy to sell their phones...
would like to see what kind of memory and video recording it has, but as of now disappointed with lack of fm radio and wi-fi. on positive side was pleasantly surprised with camera and touch screen.
People like to copy things that sell, and besides how do you know that apple did not get design plans from samsung or lg can you imagine what it would do to apple's stock if the general public knew the iphone was a knockoff, hah that would be pretty funny.
omg, throw your head... n95 has 16.7 million colour. when this phone has only 0.2million! omg.. and a PDA like phone dont have a wifi.. must well throw away.. and also n95 have a 30fps video recording.. this phone? have a not.. what a disgrace...
Oh gawd... this is the nicest I seen from Samsung
For those who see the iphone in it -- DUDES! do you think Samsung created a whole new phone in the few weeks since iPhone announcement? of course not, they been working on this for months
it took 5 years to install bluetooth in their phones and now its gonna take another 5years to install wlan technology!what are they thinking???i dont want vibrating touchscreen...i want full mobility...is that so hard samsung??
this phone when closed looks almost like the iPhone!
why do people like to copy so much?
if this has a camera flash and has a better cam then n95,
il get it even thou im in love with nokia :'(
This phone looks great and the specifications just finish up the phone. I have a D900 and can't wait to add this to my collection. I hope it has the new windows mobile OS. But either way I'm getting it.
This is lovely - and practical! The touch screen feedback and stunningly simple interface are just what the market needs. Not to mention the slide out keyboard that is devoid of clutter. Why is it the nicest phones are always 'coming soon' and the crap ones in the shops? With GPS this machine would give the ugly and seriously overhyped Nokia 95 a run for it's money. Samsung get two things right: Construction quality and interface design. And that counts if one is to be a modern human - blending fun with business. It's 2007 folks. Rock-n-roll! (My P990i is on eBay.)
Come on people don't be stupid, to those who said, that the writters said it's a copy, they never told something like that! Learn to read, they only said that it remind them to Apple's iPhone but never called it a copy.
For me, the 3rd image make it looks like iPhone OS X. I'm pretty sure it is made to make a competence against it. I think this will be a truly revolutionary phone, although I don't see too much stuff in the full specification page... What Samsung deserve is true compliments for leaving the keypad. Touchscreen can't never replace keyboards, at least not now.
I hope Nokia can make something cool with touchscreen, the N95 is taking to long to be released...
