what I don't understand is that...
why are you people still asking for the headphone jack when xiaomi already provided you the adapter IN THE PACKAGE ITSELF!
whats the big deal with that?
and and for informations sake. we have Bluetooth or wireless earphones now on asia, you can use those stuff much easier than with the 3.5mm jack.

This phone can be fully charged in less than 90 minutes and could last more than a day. My Mi 5 lasts 1.5 day per charge in its first few months (now it's "only" 1.1 day per charge), so I expect Mi 6 could bump it to near 2 days (or even 2 days, with the efficiency of SD835 it's possible). With that in mind, you can actually hear music (and all other things) a lot longer with the supplied adapter without the need to charge it too often.

These "No headphone jack, no buy" is getting ridiculous.
Do people aware Xiaomi already supplied USB-C to 3.5mm jack converter inside the package? Do people really can't leave their phone charged for for 30minutes-1 hour charging? Do they really want to listen to the music while charging the phone so much?
As far as I can tell, the SD 835 battery efficiency is really high up there. My old LG G2 requiring 1-2 charges per day, but my new Mi 6 can hold it for once a day.
Is it worth the extra 10% battery capacity and waterproofing? Absolutely yes

My only complaint against this phone is 3.5 mm jack removed. That too, for no special reason.
Its tolerable though. But, if they don't supply its adaptor in the box, then its a clear no from my side, thank you.

just plug it to your earphone, and leave it there.
how many of u guys listening to music while charging?

yet, just bought it too. :)
i choose it due to look, performance, size n price(actually... lol)

Mi6 design is'nt unique .It should be more screen ratio than S8 and camera placement could tweak LG x-cam .. . .

Mi6 is too hot for me.. The design maybe a little outdated for 2017 if we compared with s8. But it's not bad at all. Solid built quality, stereo speaker, splash resistant, especially the sd835 and 6 gigs of ram for a half price of s8. The lack of 3,5 audio jack and minus micro sd card, that just a little disadvantage for Mi6. No one can make a perfect smartphone, even s8 has some problem too, right? So what do you want for killer flagship like Mi6 for such a good price? You can check it's durability on Youtube, guys!

Not hot. No expandable storage, no headphone, and whether it actually runs Android, is a debatable topic. Plus, you can't use it on Verizon over here in the states, and that is a must-have for me.

im a simple person..no jack no buy..i dont want to to go back to 2005 where there were no 3.5mm jack, all phone were using adapter for it. there are plenty of cheaper SD820/821 with 3.5mm jack out there, not sure what SD835 can do in my daily life, even SD625 is already enough for most ppl.
