Savor , 20 May 2017Already super happy with my LG G5 and V20 which both have removable battery and an IR blaster ... moreI am using LG V20 now. with 2 sim and all active social media apps plus two email accounts. i watch youtube videos and listen to musics so pretty much a very hard user and I have to charge it twice daily. I am considering buying a zerolemon battery for my phone but its really difficult to get it where i live.
Xiaomi redmi note 4 with SD 625 is the only phone i didn't have to charge twice a day. but thats not a good phone because sometimes it has a bad microphone while calling and a bad camera comparing to V20. i was using a samsung level u bluetooth headset to overcome the microphone issue. after that a great phone i ever used for the battery. pretty much every other phone in the market sucks in battery department.
Kind of pricey, why pay $500 for this phone with a snapdragon 820 when you can soon get the one plus 5 for $450 with a snapdragon 835.
It is the best optimized Android phone, better optimized than the Pixel and probably the OnePlus 3T too.
Motorola is the most underrated brand in the smartphone business (perhaps because they stick mainly to their US domestic market). Hopefully Lenovo is already changing that. Recently l bought my first ever Motorola device, the unlocked global version of the Moto Z, and boy it held its own against my other flagship devices with super fast performance and swift Wi-Fi. They definitely possess a talented and clever bunch of engineers.
AnonD-670787, 20 May 2017Me for example. I've bought it for 249€ 3 weeks ago, in Germany.
Snapdragon 820, QHD Amoled,... moreAlready super happy with my LG G5 and V20 which both have removable battery and an IR blaster I use alot these days. But the Moto Mods is very cool and much better implemented than the one for the G5.
You're right about not judging battery based on size until you actually use it. I thought 2800 mAh for a QHD 5.3" and 3200 mAh for a QHD 5.7" would be pretty bad. They aren't! Both offer me solid battery life and excellent standby. Snapdragon 820 is a very power efficient chip and LG's optimization for it is pretty good for their size.
galaxyS7, 20 May 2017Who would buy this in 2017?Me for example. I've bought it for 249€ 3 weeks ago, in Germany.
Snapdragon 820, QHD Amoled, fingerprint an a Nexus-like pure Android with really fast updates. Why not?
And 2600mAh battery may be worth on sheet, but in real life, its really great. Better than some 3000-3300mAh smartphones.

u mast to connect a power bank for 24h a day to the phone
That abysmally low battery life has already killed 50% of its customers.

My thoughts exactly! For that price I'll wait for Axon 8 which also has a great warranty program for free and lower price.
