The XZ1 Compact could be interesting because there is no competition, but otherwise they are bascally dead on arrival, if the cameras and battery sizes are mediocre and bezels are still huge like we are used from Sony.

Sony's gonna roll out something new with the XZ1 series, which the XZP won't have.Yeah we all know that, a new seri will bring new features, but still 4k ultra hd hdr screen remain under premium's domain, like z5 premium which still was a top dog while xz was flagship

Lol they need to fix their naming on the devices. XZ1? How do we know XZ1 is later than Z5? Is XZ like a merge between X and Z series? Pronouncing XZ1C like a code. Where does X fit in? Even X itself many variant in terms of specification. I really missed the day when they name it Arc, Acro, Play, etc. At least numbering system like samsung galaxy and apple will be good.

I just hope for a better design than the XZ series. The current XZ and Premium looks too much like my Xiaomi Mi 3.

From marketing point of view, Sony must change the names of their phones. XA1, XZ1... it is ridiculous to present such names. Sony make good devices, but the marketing team is disaster. I like the design of Sony phones, but if the marketing team is a little ahead, they will change at least top and bottom bezels - there is no fingerprint reader or else to be an obstacle for that. Also camera app - how hard is to make camera with preferred settings and to made your settings launch by default?
Sony, make me an offer and i'll help your phones be in top 3. :-)
