    Front facing camera had the same resolution as rear 1.3 mp lol!
    I think the popout idea is good if done right. Happy to see some innovations in form factors instead of just another bar with slightly better specs. Once all phones lose bezels, then what?

      [deleted post]We do all know that Samsung is really a copycat. But when they copy, they just make some add-ons or slight changes not to be too obvious. But this time, everything has changed. They are copying literally. THEY ARE REALLY LIVING UP TO THEIR NAME. Hahaha.

      Samsung = KING OF COPYCAT

        Marorun, 23 May 2017You cannot have a rugged device if you remove the Bezel... They can minimize it and reinforce the frame at the sides.. so we will have tougher sides with a better looks, this is how we can solve problems in 2017

              My LG G5 is a beast compared to Samsung S7 edge ( exynos model )

              Anyone of you with a S7 or S7 edge download the game World of tanks blitz put all graphic setting to max and experience the lag fest thats phone is.
              On my LG G5 its never dip bellow 57-60 fps on S7 its go down to 20 fps at time and average is 30-35.

              This show the difference in GPU performance.

                    The reverse 2.5 glass will cover the lens underneath it, can shut down locally to be transparent and showing the lenses for selfie.

                    Tough another layer of glass above the lens will hinder the lenses light gathering and will cause problem in photograph quality.

                          AnonD-393912, 22 May 2017Movable part in Smartphone? That's just a serious liability. It'll break and that not mentio... moreThe thing is that we can make a full screen device if we hide those front stuff underneath the screen and will only come out when they're needed. Only then the front camera will be exposed automatically when needed and goes back in when not in use. Making it durable is a simple thing; use a thick metal to hold the sensor so that it won't break when accidentally hit by anything.

                          With this, OEMs can also make the front camera sensor even larger as they won't take up much front screen space.

                                  My clumsy builder friend dropped his S7 Active in a cement mixer. After the cement had hardened, he used a pneumatic drill to retrieve his pride and joy. Sadly, it no longer worked. Just shows how not fit for purpose this so called active phone really is.
