That single core test.... A10 really gives out nearly double performance compared to it's competitor. The decision of only use two core per type (they also use big.LITTLE with 2 Zephyr 2 Hurricane setup) might put them in lower tier on total cores performance. On actual usage though, not many apps (even games) using all four cores. I wonder what makes this huge difference.

Don't like all of this nokia ain't nokia stuff. Ex employees form hmd who previously worked or were on the nokia board and are literally across the road from the old hq. They design and get manufactured from foxconn who do apple phones....what us there not to like? It's pretty obvious that they aren't headed up by chinese management and designers but people still peddle that myth.

If people are saying this ain't nokia, then was nokia still nokia when bought by Microsoft....because it probably weren't then either.

Nokia is the Rolex of mobile phones in terms of durability and reliability.

People who know Nokia and know expensive watches will understand.

It is plenty good enough. Some of the old team and influencers are busy at work. I am Looking forward to the phone itself as already Nokia 6 was likely the toughest device of the year. Bodes well for future devices.

Some people say same 835. So what. That talk is really a shallow 1st world issue. Talk about picky. Nokia like the 6 are known for super solid builds. I hope it's a stylish device. Some little accent's would be a nice touch.

HTC have with U 11 created something extraordinary beautiful albeit innovative. If you watched the launch in detail you would understand, even if you don't like glass backs. So it we interesting to see the Nokia build in its probable simplicity.

Nokia have always had a little intrinsic something that simply makes a great looking, performing device. Nostalgia is fine too when it keeps up with the times.

Many people wanted Nokia to make a good Android. So let it be and make it sexy.

Anonymous, 22 May 2017So if I am your accountant and manage your monies I thus become you using your logic? Now you're just being difficult. You know exactly what the connection between Nokia and HMD is. No need for me to repeat it here again. Several posters have explained just that in this thread.

I don't know why you feel it's necessary to campaign "It's not the real Nokia" in every Nokia article's comments section.

The Kirin 960 powered Huawei Mate 9, got a multi-core score of 7290 on GeekBech 3 but got 6112 on GeekBench 4.

The Snapdragon 835 powered Xperia XZ Premium, got a multi-core score of 7479 on GeekBench 3 but got 5837 on GeekBench 4
