Meizu is clearly lost. No vision, no strategy, just keep releasing the same phone in various sizes, not to mention the "original naming". I liked M3 Note, it was a great phone, but nothing happened since then. 6 Plus is a great device, but too expensive. M5 Note is M3 Note with quick charging. Not to mention they haven't come up with a stable Flyme 6 in almost half a year. Too bad, loved the idea and the build, but Xiaomi for example has a much better portofolio and better prices.

I only have m2 mini but its awesome in performance. Meizu phones never lags in any operating region...
Ram management is better so that multitasking is preferable..
Only the peoblem is its popularity in India!!!!

Currently they don't have a devices with such low specs. This one looks exactly as M3, but with worse specs - quad core vs octa core, 8 MPx vs 12 MPx.
And the price should be arround 80 USD. Which is a great price.
It is a direct competitor to Redmi 4A, but believe me, in lower specs devices Flyme is better than MIUI.

Are the speaker grills stereo? Because if it isn't then this will be a drawback for Meizu's design. I love the placements of their speaker grills, as well as the headphone jack and the charging port. Because it reminds me of the iPhone's design. I wish they won't disappoint us.

I got excited when k started readig the post... I mean I love Meizu phones, and I hate metal and glass, and since it is a mid range... But wait! What's a mid range in 2017? A 2GB 1.3 quad core HD 720p screen?? No way! That's an entry level.
It's sad how loosely the ranges are defined and how confusing to consumer they are, but to see manufacturers also confused???
Oh, and btw, under $275? What does that mean? $100? $200? 274.99? Remember that a good real mid-range phone goes for $160 (Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime)
Granted, I love the Meizu design, and I would probably pay $275 for an M5c in red, but only if it had the hardware of the Redmi 4 prime (SD625, 3GB, 32GB, FHD screen)

While it does looks cheap in pictures, in real world, their black bezel with 2.5D glass is actually looking good, unless you put a tempered glass there.

I like Meizu phones but I find it hard to consider any phone colorful if it is only the back while the front bezels remain black. Cheap and cheerful compromise. Maybe some people gaze at the back of their phones more than I do. I like phones with bright colors but only if the front bezels are the same color. Samsung got it right with the S7/S7 edge - especially the coral blue one, best looking phone ever.
