I have just checked (yet again) with Samsung and Samsung Pay in NOT available in the UK on the Gear S3 at the moment and they did not have a date to give me as to when it would be. I guess the original article was written from a Samsung press release assuming it would launch on that day. However, if you check the version numbers shown in the images, they are nothing like the UK ones. Fake news?

I have to agree with all the other comments - it is not yet available in the UK. I called Samsung when Samsung Pay became available for the phones and they did suggest a date this week but there has been no update to the Gear App on the phone and it not available through the Gear App Store. My guess is this is a story written as if it would launch on time but hasn't. The source suggests they have been able to do this but all the images indicate a US installation...

Samsung UK has told me it is not available in the UK at the minute. They do not have a date for release.

Not working. UK Gear S3 Frontier, no Samsung pay app, no possibility to download samsung pay app, no updates available for watch, gear app manager or others.

Looks like it has not yet landed in the UK
